Analysis of Facial Development Based on Anthropometric Properties
Oravec, Dávid ; Drahanský, Martin (referee) ; Goldmann, Tomáš (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with anthropometry of human face, anthropometric landmarks, which are used to determine the distances and various relations between them. Our body is aging and consequently the position of anthropometric points is changing. The aim of this work is to determine anthropometric landmarks from photo of the human face and then to analyze the given face and how it develops over time. The model for facial landmark detection was trained and selected points which will be used to determine facial indices were chosen. Indices are used to find out how the face is evolving over time. Based on experiments we observe how the faces of men and women are changing over time.

Generation of Authentic Latent Fingerprints Background
Gajda, Adam ; Goldmann, Tomáš (referee) ; Kanich, Ondřej (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with the generation of authentic latent fingerprint backgrounds, through the use of deep learning, more specifically with the help of conditional generative adversarial network and other more conventional methods. This work summarizes the basic theoretical information about biometrics including synthetic fingerprints and a introduction into artificial intelligence. The main model proposed in this thesis has not come into fruition due to lack of unique training data. Other possible reasons were discussed. Thus an alternative way of generating latent fingerprint backgrounds was developed and after visual evaluation of the final results and real data the conclusion was positive.

Strejcová, Hana ; Vilímek, Miloslav (advisor) ; Goldmann, Tomáš (referee)
Title: EMGs of Back Muscles in Relation with Different Settings of the Straps of Backpacks Objectives: The aim of this study is to compare the electrical activity of chosen muscles during the gait with student backpack and during the different types of placing the backpack on the back in the vertical plane. The second aim is to find what it the best type of the backpack placement on the back based on the electrical activity. Methods: This thesis is an analytical-experimental research. In the theoretical part, there is a review of available sources relating to existing studies about load carriage, especially backpack carrying. It is preferentially about school type of backpaks, the recommended load limit, the way of placing a backpack on the back and the way of placing a load in the backpack. In the experimental part, there are methods used during experiment. The surface electromyografy was chosen as a experimental method. M. trapezius pars descendens, m. erector spinae and m. rectus abdomis were chosen for recording the EMG signal. The data were recorded during the gait with the backpack of 10% of proband's weight and during 3 different types of backpack placement. The upper type of placement was placed with the centre of the backpack in the level of seventh thoracic vertebra (T7), the middle type...
Experimental investigation of human gait analysis parameters
Hrušková, Natália ; Vilímek, Miloslav (advisor) ; Goldmann, Tomáš (referee)
Title: Experimental investigation of human gait analysis parameters Objective: The main objective of diploma thesis was an experiment, that examined kinematic and dimensional parameters of human gait which was captured by several cameras and acquired data was recorded in 2D and 3D measurement. Secondary objective was to compare and statistically evaluate data acquired from measurement. The objective of analysis was to discover and describe possible regularities, patterns of human gait and other connections in investigated subjects. Methods: Comparative method was used in the thesis. The purpose of the experiment was to compare parameters measured during attempts of every subject that were conducted under different conditions (different velocity, dressed, undressed, in the environment of 2D and 3D recording) and also to compare different subjects with each other. Results: In the experiment we observed that it is possible to prove the relation between the length of a step and the velocity of gait and also the relation between the change in the body height and the velocity of human gait by three dimensional recording of gait and its analysis. This contention was confirmed in the comparison dressed and undressed subjects. The result of the experiment was, that with increasing velocity of gait is...
Evaluation of the effect of exercise according to the Propriofoot concept and the methodology of Sensorimotor Training by Janda and Vávrová on foot pressure distribution.
Dudová, Helena ; Vilímek, Miloslav (advisor) ; Goldmann, Tomáš (referee)
Title: Evaluation of the effect of exercise according to the Propriofoot concept and the methodology of Sensorimotor Training by Janda and Vávrová on foot pressure distribution Objectives: In this thesis the following three goals were set: First, to find out if and how does the percentual foot pressure distribution between the left and right foot in standing change after a four-week long exercise according to either the methodology of Sensorimotor training by Janda and Vávrová or the Propriofoot concept. Second, if and how will the segmental foot load change. Third, if the prospective changes of foot load will agree or differ between the two groups. Methods: A pilot study for quantitative research using experimental scientific method was conducted, with two groups consisting of ten members each, aged thirty to fifty and diagnosed with flat foot. At the beginning, all probands underwent diagnostic measurement using the "Plantograf V10" device. Then they attended a four-week long individual therapy with an exercise plan created according to one of the two methods in consideration. At the end the probands were again measured by the same device. Entrance and control measurements obtained for each participant and both groups were evaluated, compared and statistically analyzed. Results: Analysis of the...
The evaluating of the change of walking quality in dancers in comparison with the normal population
Korošová, Kateřina ; Vilímek, Miloslav (advisor) ; Goldmann, Tomáš (referee)
Thesis name: The evaluating of the change of walking quality in dancers in comparison with the normal population Thesis goal: This thesis deals with effect of long-term ballet dance on kinematic parameters of gait. The theoretical part includes basic characteristics of gait cycle and kinesiological and biomechanical findings of ballet movement and its compensatory mechanisms in musculoskeletal system. There is analyzed angular parameters of gait cycle in ballet dancers in performance of walking in the experimental part. The results will show if the many-years intensive training of dance affects the alignment of particular joints of the body during human walk. Method: Kinematic analysis by Qualisys system allowing automatic processing of record obtained with infrared cameras. Qualisys uses its own high-frequency cameras for precise movement tracking of the measured object using active or passive markers. Gathered data from device were processed and statictically evaluated with Microsoft Office Excel. Keywords: gait, bipedal locomotion, dance, gait analysis, gait of dancers, ballet, kinematics analysis
Selected parameters of gait and foot in consideration of the individual's body height
Strnadová, Hana ; Vilímek, Miloslav (advisor) ; Goldmann, Tomáš (referee)
Title: Selected parameters of gait and foot in consideration of the individual's body height Objectives: This thesis deals with a dependence of the selected gait and foot characteristics on a person's body height. These parameters are compared between a group of men and a group of women. In addition, a validity of selected formulas used for a determination of body height is evaluated. Methods: Mutual relation among the gait and foot characteristics and the individual's body height is observed. The thesis is a descriptive - association research, the comparative method is chosen in the practical part of the thesis. For an objectification of the research, the Plantograph and the 3D kinematic gait analysis performed by Qualysis system was used. Results: It was found out that the selected formulas used for a determination of body height are valid. The best results are brought by the formulas which count with a length of a bare foot, the length of a step and a double-step. On the contrary, the worse results are achieved by using the formulas which count with the dimension of shoe print. A tight dependence of the foot length and the length of the step / double-step on the body height was proven. A minimum dependence of the foot width on the body height was proven. Nevertheless the foot width is verifiably...
