Fricová, Jitka ; Svěcená, Kateřina (advisor) ; Angerová, Yvona (referee)
of the Diploma Thesis: The presented diploma thesis is focussed on the standardization of the modified test of Working curve by Emil Kraepelin and Richard Pauli, in agrément with the project PREGnet - basic methodology for ergodiagnostic examination in Czech Republic. The methodology was modified for manipulation activities and termed Test of rope clamps. It handles contraindications in the use of basic test and absence of standardized ergodiagnostic and endotherapeutic tests, tools and procedures in the field of examination and therapy of hand function. The thesis is both theoretical and empirical and it is based on the quantitative type of research. Theoretical part is represented by a literature surfy oriented on the test of Working curve by Emil Kraepelin and Richard Pauli, its modified vision and its practical application. Practical part is composed of a psychometric study determining normative data and development of test documentation. Representative sample was selected by accidental selection method from economically active healthy Czech population. Techniques for quantitative type of research were used for data collection. Collected data were treated and analysed by methods of descriptive statistics. Developed documentation and the normative data for Test of rope clamps can be used in...
The influence on postoperative analgesia by preemptive analgesia
Fricová, Jitka ; Stříteský, Martin (advisor) ; Štípek, Stanislav (referee) ; Kršiak, Miloslav (referee)
The aim of our study was to assess the changes of free radicals and other biochemical parameters after nociceptive stimulation in different experimental animal models. In patiens we detected whether preemptive analgesia had a positive effect on acute postoperative pain. Objective evaluation of pain intensity is a long-term problem because the objectification of using electrophysiological and imaging methods is currently difficult and expensive, and therefore in laboratories in the Czech Republic and many other places are used the evaluation by means biochemical methods. We implemented large experimental studies using mechanical, inflammatory and visceral nociception and we found out in particular that nitroxid and hydroxyl free radicals and singlet oxygen increased significantly after nociceptive stimulation. This increase can be suppressed by antioxidants. At the same time, we showed that some parameters of metabolism lipids, carbohydrates and proteins have also been changed. In particular, we measured the free hydroxyl radicals and singlet oxygen by EPR method in the tail of living and anesthetized rats. This method is absolutely a priority and has never been used before. Earlier experimental results were partially clinically verified using different types of acute and chronic pain in humans...

The aim of my thesis is to examine the up to the present not treated topic of the persecution of the lay churchgoers of the region of Kromeríž in the 1950s and in the beginning of 1960s. I will carry out the examination on the basis of available archival sources and literature and I will also endeavor to advert to the consequences of persecution as well as to mention briefly the redress of the persecuted. In the first chapter I evaluate in general the development of the church-state relationship from the 1945 till 1960. I refer to the interferences of the State with the affairs of the Church and I describe the attempts at creating interaction between the State and the Church. I always try to document the whole-state development by regional cases of persecution. In the second chapter I examine the situation of the Church in the region of Kromeríž. The chapter is further concerned with the description of the structure of the Church in this region and I mention the monastic orders and congregations operating there. I have also included the data about the religiousness in the region of Kromeríž in that period, which is essential to the overall picture of the situation. I proceed to deal with the individual cases of persecution. A whole chapter is dedicated to the restrictions imposed upon the teaching of...

The aim of this work is to explore and describe the nature of this relationship, the roles which are fulfilled by the two players and last but not least to define situations in personal assistance, which may frequently give rise to conflict between the personal assistant and the client. In the theoretical portion of the work basic information about personal assistance will be given, physical characteristics of individual disabilities and their effect and a delineation of the idea of relationship. The practical portion will proceed in the form of an examination of ten interviews with personal assistants and personal assistance clients. Its results will be complemented by other findings from literature and personal experience from the author of the work. This work should serve people who operate in the field of personal assistance, whether in the role of personal assistant, a client or other people in order to better understand the laws regarding assistance and to avoid unpleasant situations and conflicts.
