Unidirectional plasmonic antennas
Formanová, Veronika ; Hrtoň, Martin (referee) ; Kvapil, Michal (advisor)
This thesis deals with directional V-shaped plasmonic antennas. In the thesis, an analytical model of antenna emission is proposed. The results of analytical computations are compared with results of numerical simulations in Lumerical FDTD Solutions package. Also, the process of fabrication of such antennas by electron beam lithography and measurement of optical properties using Fourier infrared spectroscopy is described and measured antenna resonant spectra are shown. Finally, there is a proposal of an experiment to prove the emission directivity of fabricated V-shaped antennas.
How does the taught zoological system affect achieved knowledge of zoology
FORMANOVÁ, Veronika
This diploma thesis deals with the current system of vertebrates and its use during teaching in the seventh grade of primary schools. The aim of this work is to design two types of teaching materials for teachers, one on the basis of the simplified system of vertebrates (following the results of the bachelor's thesis), the other on the basis of common used system according to textbooks. As a part of determining the results in individual classes, a didactic test was constructed. The compilation of the current form of the zoological system of vertebrates and also the analysis of the selected biology textbooks for primary schools and the lower grades of grammar schools are included in the literary review of the thesis.
The zoologists' point of view on the system of Vertebrata in biology and science curriculum
FORMANOVÁ, Veronika
This bachelor thesis deals with the current system of vertebrates that stays relatively consistent within the higher taxonomic units during the past 20 years. Nevertheless, these changes have slightly appeared in some textbooks for primary and secondary schools. The aim of this thesis is to suggest some compromise solutions to this system that would simplify the system of vertebrates, yet they would not state false facts. Within the optimization of this selection, I have prepared a questionnaire for the zoologists, in that they had an opportunity to express their opinion about the "problematical" taxonomies of the system. The part of this thesis is also a list of the current system of vertebrates and the analysis of selected natural history and biology textbooks.
