Semi-trivial and post-critical behavior of a double degree of freedom auto-parametric system under random excitation
Náprstek, Jiří ; Fischer, Cyril
The auto-parametric non-linear dynamic system with Double Degree of Freedom (DDOF) under kinematic excitation of deterministic and random character is investigated, Various types of deterministic and stochastic stability of the system response are analyzed and compared.
Dvě rovnice popisjící kyvadlový tlumič
Fischer, Cyril ; Náprstek, Jiří
The pendulum damper modelled as a two degree of freedom strongly non-linear auto-parametric system is investigated using two approximate differential systems. Uni-directional harmonic external excitation at the suspension point is considered. Semi-trivial solutions and their stability are analyzed. The thorough analysis of the non-linear system using less simplification than it is used in the previous paper is performed. Both approaches are compared and conclusions are drawn.

Post kritické limitní stavy a nestacionární odezva aeroelastického systému
Náprstek, Jiří ; Pospíšil, Stanislav ; Fischer, Cyril
The paper deals with the clasification of stability and limit cycles of two dimensional aeroelastic system.
Determination of the response effective value in case of long term monitoring of structure
Pospíšil, Stanislav ; Fischer, Cyril
TThe presented article treats the case when a non-stationary vibrations are analyzed and the characteristic values of processes are ascertained. Several methods for signal processing are compared, including the Wavelet Multiresolution Analysis and the Empirical Mode Decomposition. The effective values obtained using the respective methods are compared and relevant conclusions related to the practical applications are drawn.
Autoparametrický charakter konstrukce spřažené se sférickým kyvadlovým tlumičem
Náprstek, Jiří ; Fischer, Cyril
Dynamic behaviour of many engineering structures can be considered as auto-parametric systems. By way of examples can be mentioned wind induced vibrations of high slender structures with spherical pendulum damper, aeroelastic interactions and post-critical effects due to selfexciting processes, etc.Auto-parametric systems have been intesively studied for the last three decades.
Analysis of a bar-system with elements of variable cross-section characteristics
Náprstek, Jiří ; Fischer, Cyril
The response analysis of a system consisting of bars or one-dimensional elements can be understood as a solution of a certain differential system on an oriented graph. This graph is a corresponding geometric representation of a mechanical system investigated where elements of this graph are individual bars of the system.
Dynamické chování nosníku s přdpjatou strunou - vliv útlumu
Fischer, Cyril ; Frýba, Ladislav
The beam with an axial force is coupled by an elastic layer of Winkler type with the pretensiled string. It is subjected to a row of moving forces. The theoretical model corresponds to a prestressed bridge. The concrete bridges of this type are the most spread types appearing on both the road and railway bridges of small and medium spans. The governing equations form a coupled set of partial differential equations that are solved using the Fourier and Laplace integral transformations for the undamped case. The numerical solution is examined for the damped case.

Bezmaticová formulace stochastické Newmarkovy metody
Fischer, Cyril
A response of an arbitrary discretized system to the random movement has been solved in probabilistic terms. The excitation has been defined as a combination of the time modulated band limited stationary random processes approximating the evolutionary power spectra of a true seismic record. The solution is based either on the modified version of the stochastic Newmark method or on the spectral differential decomposition of the excitation. Special attention has been paid to the applicability of the methods to the sparse problems, especially to their matrix-free formulation.
