Klapetková, Kristýna ; Kaplan, Aleš (advisor) ; Feher, Jan (referee)
Title: Assesment of standing long jump at children of primery - school age in athletic prep school Aim: Aim of this thesis was to evaluate and compare differences of movement level in standing long jump between children of primary - school age who attend athletic prep school and those who don't. Another aim was the getting to know and the application of Haywood's and Getchell's methodology for qualitative assessment of standing long jump of children. Methodology: The movement level of standing long jump was evaluated and compared between children from selected primary school in Prague and children attending athletic prep school. Altogether, 106 children participated in the testing; 77 school children and 29 children from athletic prep school. The movement level of children was measured qualitatively by the observation method, they were shot during the jumping with a tripod camera. Afterwards, those video records were played in slow motion and evaluated with the Haywood's and Getchell's methodology and manual (2009). Each child performed one jump within the measurement. The performances of the children were also measured and evaluated according to UNIFITTEST 6 - 60 standards. All results were then converted into graphs and compared to each other. Results: In this thesis, I managed to evaluate...

Čáp, Ondřej ; Jebavý, Radim (advisor) ; Feher, Jan (referee)
Title: The explosive power of football goalkeepers Objectives: The main object of the work is to find out what is the development of the explosive power of football goalkeepers at the level of the Czech Football League (3rd League), Division (4th League) and the Regional Championship (6th League) of men in the monthly period in winter preparation. Methods: Quantitative research was carried out in the form of motor testing of six football goalkeepers from selected football competitions during the winter preparation period. Three specific tests were selected to determine the development of the lower limb explosive power. To determine the evolution of the explosive power were used a long jump, the vertical jump range - carried out by the arm swing and the Counter Movement Jump (CMJ), which was evaluated using the Myotest PRO device. Results: The change in explosive power during the follow-up period has occurred with all six goalkeepers in all three motor tests. The biggest change occurred in long jump. The Vertical jumps where we rank the vertical jump range - carried out by the arm swing and the Counter Movement Jump, the improvement has also come, not as striking as it is when compared to the long jump. The observed period (1 month) is sufficient to make the changes. Keywords: Explosive power,...
Effect of warm-up on the explosive power of the lower extremities in football
Löffelmann, Adam ; Jebavý, Radim (advisor) ; Feher, Jan (referee)
Title: Effect of warm-up on the explosive power of the lower extremities in football Student: Adam Löffelmann Supervisor: PhDr. Radim Jebavý, Ph.D. Objectives The aim of the thesis is to compare the explosive performance in high jump and long jump before warm-up and after passing three kinds of warming-up (static stretching, dynamic stretching, dynamic stretching with power elements) by football players. Next to compare effectivity of these three warm-up variants. Methods To obtain data was the measurement method in this thesis. At first was took input data without warming-up. After participants passed 6 warm-up in two weeks. Static stretching, dynamic stretching and dynamic stretching with power elements every week. 2 tested high jumps and 2 testem long jumps were made after each warm-up. The better one from each test was scored. Results There are noticeable differences between the input data and the results achived after passing warm-up. There could have a impact the progress of jump technique. Its proved that sport performance of explosive type can be influenced by choosed type of warm-up according to literary sources which are mentioned in teoretical part of this thesis. Most of authors prefers dynamic stretching instead of static stretching before explosive perforance. Measurement whitch is...
Effect of the rest interval on the explosive power
Králíčková, Kateřina ; Jebavý, Radim (advisor) ; Feher, Jan (referee)
Title: Effect of the rest interval on the explosive power Objectives: The aim of this work is to find out an effect of different rest interval on the explosive power during the throwing exercise. Methods: Measurement was done by the direct method - speed method or methods of dynamic effort, in which is the pursuit of the fastest movement with small or medium resistance. This test of the explosive power was measured by sport radar which measured speed of medicine ball. For analysis of results was used statistics method and verbal evaluation. Results: The best interval of the rest for develop explosive power is interval with the rest 20 s. No substantive significance was shown in the differences between series with different rest intervals for the entire group of probands. The largest substantive significance was showed in the group of women in the difference between the series with an interval of rest 5 and 10 s. The largest substantive signifikance can be seen if we compare series with rest interval 10 and 20 s. Keywords: rest interval, explosive power, forming method factors, power ability
Comparison of selected parameters of long jump disabled athletes
Čutková, Michaela ; Feher, Jan (advisor) ; Červinka, Pavel (referee)
Title: Comparison of selected parameters of long jump disabled athletes. Goals: The main goal of this work is to evaluate the selected characteristics in the long jump persons with various disabilities. Method: Data were obtained by analyzing long jump. I focused on four variables in the long jump, which we evaluated in the program Kinovea. The resulting data were first compared with those of healthy jumpers and then within each of class. Results: The values that we created after analysis, we published these results. Ideal values of selected parameters achieved more health jumpers, jumper with disabilities reached lower performance. Within the different categories were examined parameter values are different; the biggest differences were noted in the above-knee amputation jumpers Key words: Long jump, disability athletes, acceleration rate, fulcrum phase, angle of takeoff.
The effect of Warm Up Protocols on Explosive Power Performance in Track and Field
Mašková, Alžběta ; Jebavý, Radim (advisor) ; Feher, Jan (referee)
Title: The effect of Warm Up Protocols on Explosive Power Performance in Track and Field Objectives: The main aim of this thesis was to compare three types of warm up protocols and their effects on explosive power performance. Methods: This thesis tested 43 students of UK FTVS, who visited Athletic Conditioning lessons. The group consisted of 28 men (height 183,2+-/5,6 cm) and 15 women (166,3 +-/5,7 cm) aged 20-23 years. There was six measuring sessions separated by a week off. They performed a 800 m aerobic warm up mean run, followed by one of three types of warm-up protocols (static, dynamic, balance). Each of the warm-up protocol was performed two times in the opposite order. The experiment examined the explosive power of lower limbs and upper body/limbs. Performance score were recorded from vertical jump, a ball throw, and medicine ball front throw. Results: The thesis did not confirm any of the hypotheses. It was found that the active static stretching had a positive medium effect on medicine ball front throw by Cohen scale effect size compared to the active dynamic and the active balance warm-up protocol. Other tests did not prove any significant changes, positive or negative, of any warm up protocols. Keywords: Dynamic warm-up, Static warm-up, Balance warm- up, Testing, Explosive Power
