Motor Skills of Children of Younger School Age

This thesis is devoted to the search of the level of physical abilities of today's younger school-age children in comparison with the results of the 'Children's fitness badge' competition. Data comes from two smaller schools of the Central Bohemian region - Kounice Elementary School, year 1989 and from elementary school Sedlčany, year 2015. The thesis also discusses the differences between results in physically active and inactive pupils, between boys and girls, as well as the ability of today's students to meet the elementary level of the 'Children's fitness badge' points table. I studied these disciplines - the long jump, the 50 meters sprint and the cricket ball throw for my testing. Data were analyzed by using the statistical program SPSS. Movement abilities development of pre-school children

The thesis aims for documenting the importance of regular physical exercise (especially stretching) of pre-school children. The theoretical part deals with general development of pre-scool children - both psychological and physical, and documents all kinds of childrenś exercise throughout the day, such as kindergarden movement excercise, or after -school sport club activities. The thesis suggests why and how to imply various movement activities during the whole day in the kindergarden. The practical part of the thesis is comparing the results of two groups of pre-school children, before and after attending an excersise course. The measured figures are especially joint mobility and optimal muscle stretching. The objective is to prove great health benefit of a long-term, regular physical activities of pre-school children. Anna Brůžková DEPARTMENT: Department of Psysical Education SUPERVISOR: PhDr. PaedDr. Ladislav Kašpar, Ph.D. ABSTRACT: The thesis is focused on the achievements of our athletes at the Paralympic Games. The thesis is splited to the several section, which is devoted to problems related to basic concepts, history of sports activities of disabled people and historical view of the Paralympic Games. I also focused on the description of the individual sports that are on the summer and winter Paralympic Games. One of the important section is the classification for disability and classification for sports. In the section the achievements of our athletes we find out which games are the most successful for Czech Republic, which sport is the best for us, which disability and gender dominates gain medals and in the end, who is our most successful Paralympian. Physical growth and efficiency of preschool children regarding motion mode

This diploma thesis deals with comparing the level of physical growth and basic motor skills of preschool children, their motion mode and the conditions for movement activities in two kindergartens located in different municipalities (in a city and in a town). The aim of the study was to determine the level of growth and motor performance of preschool children in relation to the motion mode at their residence. The study included 116 children aged 4-6. The level of physical growth was assessed by measuring somatic characteristics of children (height, weight, BMI). The data extracted from the study were compared to percentile charts. The level of motor performance was assessed by sensory tests. In the case of basic motor skills there was chosen 20 ms run with standing start for the testing of speed capability, for the evaluation of explosive strength abilities was selected jump from the spot with two legs reflection, the testing of explosive strength of the upper limbs was exercised by a ball throw by both right and left hand. At the same time, these tests show the level of motor performance of preschool children. Floorball Summer Fitness Trainig

This diploma thesis "Floorball Summer Fitness Training" describes the process and influence of a fitness training period on female floorball players of Fbš Bohemians Praha club. The theoretical part focuses on fitness training and its elements, it also describes motor skills, training phases and physical tests. The practical part of the thesis deals with the actual testing of the players prior to the start of the summer fitness training period and afterwards.
