ABSTRACT I explore in this work three planes of the theme: VERACITY IN INTERPRETATION. In the first plane I look at the interpretation of the actor to dance interpretation. I'm talking about improvisation and creative work of performer. I deal with the phenomenon of internal images. In the second level I observe the work of choreographers Pina Bausch and William Forsythe. In connection with Pina Bausch I think about the role of choreographer in post-modern era. Then I present a new dance program of computer Synchronous Objects created by dance ensemble The Forsythe Company and Ohio State Uiversity. Finally, my work is dedicated to my own experiences and subjective point of view at the work of the choreographer. Something between us - Work with a Group of Performers
Reihserová, Lenka ; ELIÁŠOVÁ, Bohumíra (advisor) ; OVSOVÁ, Libuše (referee)
Summary In my master thesis I focused on work with a group of performers. I tried to describe this topic from a dance teacher´s point of view who both respects the dance techniques and searches the way of developing the dancer to be prepared for his professional carreer in which he is often a member of a group. In my research I came to several important conclusions which I included in the particular chapters. I became aware of the importance of motor skills and perception, the meaning of dance improvisation and I also mentioned the problematics of teacher and performer´s forming of personality. I applied my theoretic conclusions in a practical examination as written in the last chapter.
