Influence of the respiratory stereotype on the posture in children of preschool age

The bachelor thesis deals with assessment of the respiratory stereotype in a group of preschool children and its influence on the posture. The thesis is divided into the theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part includes the respiratory stereotype focusing on its mechanics in children, the physiological respiratory wave, the postural function of the diaphragm and correct posture. A separate chapter is the pathophysiology of breath movements and their influence on the posture. The practical part deals with the evaluation of respiratory stereotype in children of preschool age, body posture and assessment of postural stabilization in the research file. The results show the possible relationship between breathing and posture and reflect the selected deviations of the faulty posture in children aged 4.5-7.5 years. Catering and physical activities at elementary school.

This work deals with the issue of eating and physical activity of children in elementary school by comparing two categories - younger and older school age. The aim of this work is first to map the situation, to find out what is the level of eating habits and physical activity and whether the results differ in relation to the child's age. To provide the background to the research, a set of questionnaire questions for pupils was devised, focusing on two aspects of this topic - morning and afternoon meals and leisure activities with an emphasis on physical activity. The main finding is the fact that both children and parents are well informed about good eating habits and the importance of physical activity and they are usually trying to apply them in practice. The result is a negative answer to the question whether the age of the child is directly related, respectively. the influence of parents on children, the quality of eating habits and the intensity of physical activity. Motivation of Elemntary School Pupils in Physical Education Classes

This diploma thesis is focused on motivation of pupils in physical education classes at elementary school. Its aim is to find out how teachers motivate their pupils in PE classes and what response these pupils give to this motivation. In the theoretical part some terms and theories concerning motivation and its use in PE classes are mentioned. In the practical part, I focused on observing motivational elements in PE classes and their subsequent analysis. The research was carried out at two elementary schools - ZŠ Mníšek pod Brdy and ZŠ Stará Huť. It took place amongst pupils from 1st to 5th year.
Changing of children body posture before entering elementary school

The bachelor thesis deals with the problem of the posture of pre-school children. The aim was to found out the posture of two age similar groups of pre-school children at the beginning and at the end of the final year before entering the primary school and to verify if there are some changes in posture at this time period. I used two tests to assess the posture, perspective method Klein, Thomas and Mayer in combination with the build evaluation according to Jaros and Lomicek. I was gaining the research data also by the observation method of common day running in two pre-school institutions and by the method of half-structured interview with class teachers ofthese institutions. Research file formed two age similar groups of pre-school children, specifically children from the last year of a kindergarden and children from preliminary classes. The result of the research is the finding out that in the last year, before entering the primary school, come about negative changes at posture of the pre-school children and that points to the fact that even pre-school age is high risk from posture point of view.
