Digitization of teaching models
Dvořák, Tomáš ; Kaczmarczyk, Václav (referee) ; Sýkora, Tomáš (advisor)
This thesis focuses on the digitization of laboratory fixtures Case Sorters and Drills. These laboratory fixtures were assembled within the framework of bachelor theses from previous years for teaching at the Brno University of Technology. The thesis deals with the digital twin, one of the concepts of Industry 4.0. It is a technology that enables the digitization of physical reality for monitoring, simulation and prediction. It is a trend that is already used in many applications not only in industry. This work shows the conversion of laboratory preparations into digital form in order to simulate physical operation and subsequent testing on physical equipment. The models are controlled via the TIA Portal from Siemens in Ladder language.
Flat Co-ownership
Janderová, Kateřina ; Elischer, David (advisor) ; Salač, Josef (referee) ; Dvořák, Tomáš (referee)
The thesis entitled Flat Co-ownership focuses primarily on the selected areas of flat co- ownership under Act No. 89/2012 Coll., The Civil Code. The first chapter of the thesis concerns the genesis and evolution of flat co-ownership in order to outline both the socio-political context of flat co-ownership and issues that occur throughout the whole thesis. The second chapter examines the issue of the principle of superficies solo credit, also known as the superficial principle, which is closely connected to flat co-ownership and its development. The issue of the principle of superficies solo credit is relevant primarily because it is newly introduced in Czech civil law with the entry into force of Act No. 89/2012 Coll., The Civil Code, although this principle dates back Roman law. In the context of flat co-ownership, an important exception to the principle of superficies solo credit is the right to build. Therefore, this chapter also deals with the right to build and with historical development of the right to build and its concept in France and Russia. The chapter concludes with a discussion of the issues arising in connection with the application of the principle of superficies solo credit to flat co-ownership under Act No. 89/2012 Coll., The Civil Code. In the third chapter, we focus on the...
Content analysis of Twitter comments towards selected male and female candidates in the 2023 presidential election
Millková, Tereza ; Svobodová, Tereza (advisor) ; Dvořák, Tomáš (referee)
This bachelor's thesis analyzes Twitter comments under the posts of three selected candidates during the 2023 presidential election. The goal is to map whether there are differences between emotions, gender stereotypes, or topics towards a particular candidate's gender, and whether these variables change reflecting the gender of Twitter users. Thematic content analysis is chosen as the research method. Data are manually collected on the Twitter platform for candidate posts. Three dates during the last month before the first round of elections are chosen for data collection. A coding method is further used for the analysis of the collected data. The results respond to six pre-selected hypotheses. The analysis is divided into three parts - a message emotion, gender aspect and progress in time. In the first part, it is shown that more comments with negative sentiment are aimed towards the female candidate, and it does not matter whether the comment is written by an anonymous or non-anonymous user. In the second part, it is confirmed that more comments with a gender aspect are aimed towards the female candidate, and they are mostly focused on appearance. In contrast, for the male candidate, gender stereotype allusions to ability and sexual innuendo are the most common themes. The last section of the...
Prediction of load-displacement behaviour of large diameter piles using the finite element method
Dvořák, Tomáš ; Miča, Lumír (referee) ; Chalmovský, Juraj (advisor)
The master thesis deals with the inverse analysis of instrumented load tests of bored piles in cohesionless and cohesive soils. Evaluations of the detailed monitoring are compared with the results of inverse analyses. Inverse analyses are preformed using the finite element method with an advanced material model considering the higher stiffness within very small strains in PLAXIS and alternatively using the load-transfer method in PMpLTO. The difference of pile-soil interaction in different soil types is discussed and the difference in the process of shaft friction mobilization is also evaluated. In cohesionless soils values of shaft friction are many times higher due to the increment of radial stress which is caused by effect of constraint dilatancy in shear zone at pile-soil interface.
Statistical investigation of chosen parameters estate criminality within Police department in Czech Republic
DVOŘÁK, Tomáš
Property crime is one of the most common type of crime. Prime goal of this diploma thesis is to help the structural form of Czech Police by analyzing property crime and its clarification. Regarding to it, the structural form of Czech Police was introduced with the placement of property crime at the whole crime scene in Czech republic. Structural levels this diploma thesis contained: Czech Police (CP), Structure of CP, Main tasks of CP, Connection between executive power and judical power, Prosecution, Ethical code of CP, Crime. Structure level of "Crime" contained: Crime clarification, Factual and place juristiction, Crime control, Property crime (PC), Development of PC, Causes of PC, Legislation of PC, Delimitation of PC, Clarifitacion of PC, Comparing PC to neigboring countries. Partial goal of this diploma thesis was researching the mentioned structural form of Czech Police. District department of Czech Police was the researched unit. Part of property crime and its clarifitation were researched parameters. These parameters were researched on 100 randomly chosen District department. The mentioned structure of Czech Police was supported by verifitation research hypothesis, in particular the bond of researched parameters. Researched parameters were expressed in percentual form due to the bond between them. Logical and empirical methods of applied quantitative research were used to obtain information about proceeding the property crime. All information were obtained by analyzing Police database. The research hypothesis were accepted by investigation obtained informaton: H1) Empirical distribution of researched parameters of property crime will be comparable to normal distribution. H2) Researched parameters of property crime will be close and positive related in terms of regression and corellation. The main goal of this diploma thesis was fullfiled by accepting both hypothesis (H1,H2). Teoretical benefit of diploma thesis lies in completing the main goal and in confirmation of usability methods of two-dimensional statistics. Practical benefit of diploma lies in confirmation the work efficiency at district departments of Czech Police. Work efficiency was supported by research resutls respectively by confirmation of normal distribution and positive corellation between examined parameters. Conducted research could serve as one of documents used in property crime prevency. Ambition of this diploma thesis was to highlight the need of furter research on the field of property crime.
The Legal Status of a Member of the Statutory Body of a Dependant Joint Stock Company
Štaňko, Silvie ; Černá, Stanislava (advisor) ; Dvořák, Tomáš (referee) ; Josková, Lucie (referee)
(EN) The dissertation deals with the issue of the legal status of a member of the statutory body of a joint stock company in a situation when the influence of the concern's controlling entity interferes with his/her powers. Attention is paid in particular to the definition of the boundaries of due care and to the binding nature of the concern's guidelines and instructions. In preparing the dissertation, general methods of scientific work, such as deduction, analysis, synthesis and the descriptive method, were used. In addition, specific formal legal methods were employed, namely grammatical interpretation, logical interpretation and systematic interpretation (considering the context and place of the provisions from the point of view of the legal regulation, the system of private law, as well as from the point of view of the entire Czech legal system). As supporting methods, historical interpretation (the rules prior to the recodification of private law) and teleological interpretation (reasoning that uses the meaning of corporate law) were applied. Furthermore, the comparative method was used to a considerable extent in the preparation of the dissertation. This involves both a comparison with selected foreign rules (German, British and French) and a comparison with rules at the Community level. The...
Agricultural settlement - Mountain pastoral cooperatives in the district of Trutnov from 1945 to 1949
Nováková, Tamara ; Pokorný, Jiří (advisor) ; Holubec, Stanislav (referee) ; Dvořák, Tomáš (referee)
The history of mountain pastoral cooperatives 1945-1949 has not yet been sufficiently elaborated and reflected in the whole range of issues, not even at the national level, let alone at the level of each border political district or otherwise defined region. The presented text will focus on the genesis of mountain pasture cooperatives at the national level, in the political post-war context, including the fundamental theoretical background, and will describe in particular the implementation of six cooperatives in the Giant Mts (Krkonoše in Czech) and Giant Mts foothills, in particular the Trutnov political district. In the form of a probe, the implemented HPDs in the Prachatice district will be described for comparison. Comparison of the theoretical plans of the Ministry of Agriculture with concrete implementation in the complicated reality of the various ways of re-locating post-war sites in the Trutnov district brings a new perspective firstly on the evaluation of the success of the mountain pastoral cooperatives or on the limits and possibilities of their success. Secondly, it presents pastoral cooperatives as a key player in the transformation of the cultural landscape of some localities affected by them. At the same time, the study describes the exklusive possibility for grassland promoters to...
Who votes for populist parties in Czechia?
Maxová, Anna ; Dvořák, Tomáš (advisor) ; Stropnický, Matěj (referee)
Besides continuously growing influence of populism, there is also an increasing interest in studies analysing the electorate of populist parties and factions. This is also taken into account by this thesis, the aim of which was to identify the common characteristics of voters of populist parties in the Czech Republic. Measured were especially factors appropriate to the current knowledge of populist voters in Europe. The most common factors, which may induce the individual to become populist, are considered by authors as Euroscepticism, disapproval of migration, dissatisfaction with the local political scene or economic deprivation. Yet the studies are unable to concur, as both the form of populism and factors, which increase the probability of electing populist parties on an individual level, differ across the countries. In the Czech Republic, populism is most represented by the factions ANO 2011 and SPD. According to this thesis, the electorate of these factions does not share quintessential aspects of populist voters across Europe. Rejection of EU membership is a significant predictor of the SPD election, however; a negative attitude towards migration could not be demonstrated. In the case of the ANO 2011 electorate, all established hypotheses have to be dismissed, there are almost no common...
