Porosity increasing agents for supercapacitors
Hovorka, Martin ; Dvořák, Petr (referee) ; Sedlaříková, Marie (advisor)
This work deals with questions connected with ultracapactors and lightening agents of activated carbon used for production of supercapacitors’s electrodes. Our goal was examination of ideal ratio of carbon and lightening agent in surveyed electrode. Materials which were used: expanded graphite, soda saleratus, ammonium bicarbonate and ammonium formate. Specimens were measured by cyclic voltammetry. The best results was reached by using of soda saleratus with ideal ratio 1:0,5. During measurement was found that weight of electrode has basic effect on eventual capacity.
Procedure of using e-banking and e-catalogues
Neumanová, Radka ; Ing.Jiří Dvořák, PhD. (referee) ; Dvořák, Jiří (advisor)
This diploma work deals with using e-banking and e-catalogues problems. First part of the diploma work describes e-banking development including actual forms of e-banking. Next part deals with connection between e-catalogues and e-banking. In the last part of the diploma work there is described concept of the procedure of using e-banking and e-catalogues and the practical ways of using the procedure.
Multiparametric segmentation of MR images
Chovanec, Ján ; Šmirg, Ondřej (referee) ; Dvořák, Pavel (advisor)
The aim of the thesis was familiarity of segmentation methods for automatic segmentation of MR images, using multiparametrical display. The theoretical part focuses on the description of methods of segmentation techniques. In the practical part are implemented K-means and level-set method. The methods are tested on the images of the brain obtained by different sequences (T1, T1c, T2, FLAIR). Segmentation methods are implemented in the program MATLAB. Implemented segmentation accuracy is demonstrated on data which there are reports reference results. Evaluation methods is performed using different classifiers decision. The K-means method is tested different metrics and different combinations of the input image. Finally, both methods are compared with one another and visually evaluated against the reference image.
Slot antenna
Dvořák, Petr ; Horák, Jiří (referee) ; Láčík, Jaroslav (advisor)
This thesis discusses Slot antennas that are based in gap waveguide technology, which allows them to work with high frequency signals. It contains theoretical findings about antennas and waveguides, which are later used in the design. The practical section of this thesis concentrates on designing a specific gap waveguide for 10 and 24 GHz frequencies, starting with modeling and parameter optimalization. This gap waveguide is then used as a base for slot antenna design. The final antenna is designed for frequency of 10 GHz, for both linear and right-handed circular polarizations. With right-handed circular polarization, the achieved band was approximately 1.41 GHz, while the gain was 7,6 dB.
Image Processing of MR diffusion weighted images
Candrák, Matúš ; Dvořák, Pavel (referee) ; Marcoň, Petr (advisor)
The semester thesis describes the basic principles of MRI, methods for measuring diffusion coefficients and creating DWI and DTI images. As a result a practical implementation of program was implemented in Matlab, based on theoretical knowledge of the problem.
Carbon materials for supercapacitors
Moncoľ, Maroš ; Macalík, Michal (referee) ; Dvořák, Petr (advisor)
This project deals with various carbon electrodes in order to achieve the maximal capacitance of supercapacitors. In a theoretical part of this work, is described physical substance of supercapacitors, energy storage principles and carbon based materials. In an experimental part, is described preparation of electrodes, results and evaluation of measurement.
Binders for supercapacitors electrodes
Gottwald, Tomáš ; Dvořák, Petr (referee) ; Sedlaříková, Marie (advisor)
This work deals with the issues of useing binders for supercapacitor electrodes and optimizing the technological process for their production. The work focuses on optimizing the amount of binder used in order to acheive the most capacity. The methodology consists of creating an appropriate experimental electrode and subsequent measuring its associated capacity with AutoLab. This aproach leads to creating grafs which show the dependencies of capacity on the amount of binder used.
Segmetation of tomographic data in 3D Slicer
Korčuška, Robert ; Dvořák, Pavel (referee) ; Mikulka, Jan (advisor)
This thesis contains basic theoretical information about SVM-based image segmentation and data classification. Basic information about 3D Slicer software are presented. Aspects of medical images segmentation are described. Workplan and implemetation of SVM method for MRI segmentation in 3D Slicer sofware as extension module is created. SVM method is compared with simple segmentation algorithms included in 3D Slicer. Quality of segmentation, based on SVM, tested on real subjects is experimentaly demonstrated.
Dynamic electroneurostimulation and electrical properties of skin
Špeta, Marek ; Dvořák, Petr (referee) ; Špinka, Jiří (advisor)
The focus of this diploma thesis is on theoretical basics of dynamic electroneurostimulation, which is an effect of electrical signal on acupuncture points of skin. This technology is used in devices made by russian DiaDENS company. Practical part of this thesis covers design of human skin impedance model. Especially derivation from three-element Cole-Cole model. Elementary, there is design of equivalent circuit of constant phase element and its incorporation into circuit. Then this circuit is designed, simulated and produced. Resulting product is used as a load to measure the characteristics of the DiaDENS device.
Properties study of gel polymer electrolytes for lithium-ion batteries
Zítka, Jan ; Dvořák, Petr (referee) ; Musil, Michal (advisor)
The present work deals with the research and development of gel polymer electrolytes and their applications. Thesis talks about the mechanisms that take place in gel electro-lytes. It also discusses the electroanalytical methods used in assessing the gel electro-lytes. The main focus of the work is the preparation of gel polymer electrolytes and compared their properties using methods of impedance spectroscopy, cyclic voltam-metry and methods of measurement of transference numbers.
