The theoretical part deals with the quality of Nursing care, diabetes mellitus - characteristics, etiopathogenesis, forms of diabetes, diagnosis, treatment, acute and late complications. This part also deals with diabetic foot syndrome - characteristics, diagnosis, treatment, and discusses new trends in wound healing, prevention and psychological aspects in patients. The empirical part is based on the results of research of an anonymous quantitative non-standardized questionnaire. A total of 41 respondents with diabetic foot syndrome participated in the research study. The questionnaire detects the basic information about patients and their perceptions of the diabetology department's care quality.

Description of inner audits and advers events report is also included. Anonymous questionare inquiry pertaining to inner audits is a core of empirical part of the text. 40 auditors and empoyees working in the hospital more than 5 years were involved in the investigation. Oppinions of auditors were compared to statements of empoyees. Final version of the questionnaire was refined after analysis of preliminary questionnaire results. Questions pertain to accreditation, edducation of auditors, topics and timing of audits, survelliance of advers events and negative results notification. Information obtained can assist to improve inner audit system and quality of healthcare in the hospital.

Theory and Practice an the Competence of Graduate Nurse. Working in the Surgical Ambulance This bachelor thesis deals with the contemporary situation and new trends in health service - in the branch of nursing. It presents and evaluates theoretical assumptions of further development of a graduated nurse in new conditions. The empirical part is aimed at identification of the conditions for the work of a graduated nurse and to recognize whether the current legislation enables such a nurse to work individually, concretely in surgical ambulance. The thesis concludes that graduated nurses are allowed to work individually and separately conformably to the laws, and patients and insurance companies take concern in their work. On the basis of this fact some questions arise: Why is there a problem to implement it in practice? Do we really take care in graduate nurses?

The topic of my final project is "The prepartion for accreditation with the intention on the safety at work and the occupational hygiene and the future medical personnel level knowladge in this section". This is a theoretical and research project. In my theoretical part I have described the accreditation as a proccess, which is neccesary for quality patient care. I have focused on the changes which our hospital goes through during the preparation of the accreditaion proccess including the claims on safety at work and occupational hygiene. Research part has focused on finding the level of future medical personnel mainly in the safety at work sphere via questionnaire. These students become the part of the medical team during the practical lessons and it is necessary to keep safety work rules and in this way they safe themselves and others. Subsequently, this final project has been concentrated on the concept of the corrective measures during the safety training for students and occupational hygiene.
Communication and interaction of medical personnel with patient's family in the intensive care unit

Introduction: Communication with relatives of critically ill patients is a rather neglected area in the Czech Republic. Intensive care focuses more on the patient, equipment and highly specialized treatment while contact with relatives is often minimized. Moreover, the conversation consists mainly of brief statements related to the current health status of the patient. It is important to pay more attention to this issue, especially so that the medical staff can offer the patient's family the best possible help in their difficult life situation. Objectives and Methodology: The aim of this thesis was to map the professional preparedness of general nurses and doctors in the areas of communication with the patient's family. Next, the thesis also attempted to determine the attitude of the medical staff to the families of patients hospitalized in the intensive care unit. Furthermore, it also aspired to map the experience of the patient's family members with the cooperation and interaction with the medical staff during hospitalization of the patient.
