Changes in understanding the role of internal audit and the changing needs of executive managers leads to the more frequent use of internal auditors as independent consultants. The aim of this diploma paper is to acquaint the reader with a wide range of activities and principles of the internal audit work of internal auditors. The second part deals with process optimization which has recently become ever more important concern of the work of internal auditors. The practical part demonstrates an example of the analysis and optimizing processes and corporate's management. This analysis is based on the real process audit and process optimization.

This diploma work deals with to whom the internal auditor should disclose certain facts and how to choose the appropriate form of audit reports in order to give their addressees best possibility to point to these audit findings and create follow-up with an effective remedy for the irregularities found.

This thesis aims to serve as a suitable material for future entrepreneurs who want to orientate quickly and reliably in the issue of starting a business in the legislative environment of the Czech Republic before making own decision to establish a company. The work is divided into two parts - first, theoretical and methodological, will explain all theoretical aspects regarding establishment of businesses in our country. The second part, analytical, will transfer these aspects into practice. On example of a fictional company the reader will be step by step acquainted with it's whole life cycle.

Internal audit in Skanska CS a.s

My thesis is divided into two main parts, such as the theoretical and practical part. In theoretical part, I describe brief history of Internal Audit with the special interest on the Czech Republic and Sweden. I mention these two countries as the headquarters of Skanska are found in Sweden and it has a long developed tradition. Then, I concentrate more on IA organization and procedures, IA standards and code of ethics. Furthermore, I concentrate on the methodology used in IA. In practical part, I focus more on a description of IA process at Skanska. I describe the practical background of this company and later on, I have mentioned two practical cases targeted on audit of one loss project and audit of processes such as Accounts payable and Accounts receivable.

Cílem mé diplomové práce je na za základě vlastních teoretických znalostí a obdržených informací komplexně a objektivně zhodnotit finanční zdraví podniku TONAK, a. s. V teoretické části mé práce jsem se věnovala problematice finanční analýzy. Vymezila jsem její úlohu, cíl, zdroje a postupy používané ve finanční analýze. Soustředila jsem se zejména na metodu procentního rozboru, analýzu vývojových trendů a poměrovou analýzu. V závěru teoretické části ještě uvádím nová kritéria hodnocení výkonnosti podniku a systémy včasného varování. V praktické části jsem se pokusila implementovat poznatky z teoretické části.
