Approach to dying people in hospices from the point of view of a special pedagogue

This diploma thesis deals with clients suffering from mental and sense disease staying in hospices in the Czech Republic. The first chapter is aimed to the history and the present of hospice and palliative care. The second chapter presents specifics of communication and approach to the clients with mental and sense disease. The third chapter deals with professional qualification of the staff working in hospices with such clients. The fourth chapter is aimed to satisfying of existence and existential needs of clients with mental and sense disease. This chapter also indicates some differences in the ways of satisfying these needs in relation to other dying people. The last part of this diploma thesis presents research project which deals with mapping of experiences of hospice staff with clients with mental and sense disease. The research also identifies the specificity of care provided to these clients and describes how the existence and existential needs of these clients are satisfied. It tries to understand how the hospice workers are given their professional competence. Experiences of caregivers with home hospice care

The subject of this diploma thesis is to analyze and describe the specific experiences of three caregivers with a home hospice care using chosen qualitative research method. It try to find answers to questions about why these people chose home hospice care, in what they see its positives and negatives and what obstacles and problems need to be overcome during care. The first part focuses on the characteristics of home hospice care, the introduction of various concepts of bereaved and mapping support for caregivers. In the second part is done phenomenological investigation of experiences of these three participants of research.
Value of dyslalia 1. st. School year

Problem of the dyslalia is the main target of this graduation thesis . It's based on the value of dyslalia 1. st. school year. The teoretical part provides knowledges, which deales with this issue. It's especially based on the basic terms: communication, communication disorder, communication with the relationship to RVP PV a RVP ZV. The main part of the teoreticial part pursue of the komplex proccesing dyslalia problem (classification, symptomatology, etiology, diagnosis and therapy), graduation thesis is also pursue of dyslalia problems and it's possible impacts on life (dyslalia and school, children with impaired articulation and teacher, dyslalia's social and psychological consequences). The practical part is prepared on the basis of the survay. For this survay it was used the quantitative research methods. The Survay respondents were student's parents. Determine approximate values of dyslalia occurrence in the first school year was the main target of this practical part.

PaedDr. Jiřina Klenková, Ph.D. ABSTRACT: Present thesis deals with the phenomenon of communication disorders of students with mild level of mental disability who are educated at practical basic school. The theoretical part includes the terms legal framework of practical basic school, educational program of practical basic school, mild metal retardation, communication disorder, dyslalia, developmental dysphasia as well as the possible treatment of these speech disorders. The characteristics of the specific learning disorders with a closer introduction to dyslexia and dysgraphia and hearing impairment are also included in the theoretical part of this thesis. The depiction of these terms provides better understanding of the issue of education of students with communication disorders, students who need a systematical logopedic care. The practical part deals with the survey which is processed into two casuistries according to the gained information. Stimulation programs for preschoolers and children with postponded school attendance

The thesis is dedicated to stimulations programs for preschool children and children with postponed schooling. The work is divided into five chapters. The first few chapters are focused on the information which is necessary for understanding the topic. These are about a psychological definition of pre-school age, as well as the issue of entering into a school, followed by a chapter about diagnostics, which usually come before the stimulation. Another chapter is focused on the actual stimulations programs, it contains their theoretical description, but also the information needed to create them. In the fifth chapter, an example of stimulation program was created. Its functionality is supported by the observations at the beginning of the program and during the program. The aim is to make a guide about creating of stimulation programs in the frame of the preschool preparation.
