Durczaková, Kristina ; Kazárová, Helena (advisor) ; Janeček, Václav (referee)
This master thesis deals with the development of elements of the academic dance during 18th and 19th century as described by dancing masters and theoreticians in their treatises. Using a chosen sample of dance elements, the thesis demonstrates the development of the inner content of dance terms and compares the manner of executing and describing the elements by individual authors such as Pierre Rameau, Gennaro Magri or Carlo Blasis. The development of individual dance elements is compared with the currently used ones and the thesis therefore represents an insight of historical development of the terminology of the academic dance.

Durczaková, Kristina ; Gremlicová, Dorota (advisor) ; Dercsényiová, Lucie (referee)
This bachelor thesis deals with dance writing in Bohemia between years 1925 and 1939. During this period, the specialist theoretical reflection of dance developed, especially thanks to two main personalities - Emanuel Siblík and Jan Reimoser. Individual chapters deal with particular period journals, such as Divadlo, Rozpravy Aventina, Útok and Klíč. The occurence and number of all texts concerning dance is described and compared, as well as their content, scope and individual style of authors, writing about dance. Separate chapter deals with periodicals specialising in dance (Živý tanec, Taneční listy and Taneční revue). The thesis therefore represents an insight of theoretical and critical dance writing in Bohemia within various periodicals.
