Recognition of Hits in a Target
Semerák, Vojtěch ; Dittrich, Petr (referee) ; Drahanský, Martin (advisor)
This thesis describes two possible ways of hit recognition in a target. First method is based on frame differencing with use of a stabilization algorithm to eliminate movements of a target. Second method uses flood fill with random seed point definition to find hits in the target scene.
Program for Training of Dactyloscopic Experts
Bartoň, Jan ; Drahanský, Martin (referee) ; Lodrová, Dana (advisor)
This work deals with the design project and the creation of user interface of a programme for the training of dactyloscopy experts. The first chapters describe historical and technical evolution of dactyloscopy. Then the work explains the methods and concepts necessary for understanding and elemental orientations in determination of fingerprints. The final chapters present a proposition of possibilities in how to obtain and represent the results in a comprehensible form. The conclusion of the work is dedicated to tests and evaluation of the results.
Testing of Blood Oxygenation for Pilots
Kvasnička, Pavel ; Smolík, Luděk (referee) ; Drahanský, Martin (advisor)
This work investigates the measurement of blood oxygenation for pilots, which is based on noninvasively method of pulse oxymetry. This method is based on the selective light absorption in the spectrum of infrared and red light by oxyhemoglobin and reduced hemoglobin. For measurement is crucial a pulse component of arterial blood, in which is measured concentration of hemoglobin to total amount of hemoglobin.
Evaluation of Biometric System - Eye Iris Technology
Mlčoch, Luboš ; Drahanský, Martin (referee) ; Dittrich, Petr (advisor)
This thesis briefly describes basic biometric terms, a brief history of biometrics, biometric system and its performance and characteristics. Basic principles of iris recognition technology are also discussed. Finally, this thesis describes tests performed on various iris recognition systems and sums up the results.
Biometric Performance Testing of Signature Technology
Homola, Petr ; Drahanský, Martin (referee) ; Fiala, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is focused to possibilities of biometrics of dynamics signature. The first part is devoted to general explanations of basic concepts and standards for measuring effectiveness. Explains the problematics of processing characteristics of the signature. Descibes the equipment of the appropriate components for capturing the dynamic signature. The main section deals with testing abillities of verification of user and identification and testing the posibillities of deception devices. Presents design and implementation of program for identification. Records the progress and results of all performed tests.
Experiments with Thermoscans of Hands
Foltýn, Radek ; Drahanský, Martin (referee) ; Váňa, Jan (advisor)
This identification with fingerprints or palmprints is one of the biometric methods of man's identification. This thesis deals with two problems: The first one is the hand detection in thermoscans by means of outstanding contours search (palm edge, individual fingers). The second one is the depiction of useful data from thermoscans, i.e. those ones which are connected with the given hand (separation of interfering parts).
Porting and Optimization Algorithms for Detecting Finger Veins on DSP Blackfin
Trhoň, Adam ; Drahanský, Martin (referee) ; Marvan, Aleš (advisor)
This thesis discuss optimizations of algorithms for finger vein map extraction from finger image taken in NIR spectrum. The algorithm is also ported on development kit with DSP Blackfin. For optimization the median filtering was mainly considered (resulting in histogram-based median filter) and the amount of memory used during extraction (resulting in semi-parallel pipeline of image filters). Simple hardware abstraction layer is also implemented.
Creation of Database and Classification of Diatoms
Svoboda, Jan ; Nötzel, Ralf (referee) ; Drahanský, Martin (advisor)
Výsledná aplikace pracuje s vytvořenou databází, obsahující obrázky jednotlivých rozsivek a informace o nich uložené v XML dokumentu. Program obsahuje přehledné a intuitivní grafické rozhraní, jež nám pohodlně umožňuje prohlížet stávající databázi a provádět operace nad ní s možností nastavení filtrovacích hodnot při vyhledávání.
Projects Web-Page of Our Faculty
Bajzecer, Tomáš ; Orság, Filip (referee) ; Drahanský, Martin (advisor)
Project was made for presentation student's MSc. and Bc. projects. His main focuses of activity are download, presentation as well as upload of documets and source codes, that are associated with this project. Solvings are designed for the best comfortable of users and fast access on pages of full faculty web page of projects. Last but not least there is included access on database data and editation of data. Functions of web page are divided according to access privileges and secured with cryptographic transfer of data. Searching projects are based on queries in database by means of data indexing for faster access on data.
Fingerprint Classification
Kostiha, Martin ; Orság, Filip (referee) ; Drahanský, Martin (advisor)
Automatic identification based on fingerprints requires the input fingerprint to be matched with a large number of fingerprints stored in a database. Fingerprint classification provides an important indexing mechanism in fingerprint databases that reduces the search time and computational complexity. This thesis is dealing with Galton-Henry's  classification system. The classification method is based on orientation field and detection singularities using Poinaceré index.
