Non-financial causes of bankruptcies of small and medium-sized enterprises
Doležalová, Eva ; Koráb, Vojtěch (advisor)
My dissertation thesis deals with new non-financial causes of bankruptcies of small and medium-sized enterprises. The origin of the idea is based on considerations of leading experts on Czech insolvency law, who believe that the financial tightness, which leads to bankruptcy, is necessarily preceded by anomalies in non-financial areas. Research questions for confirming appointed hypotheses have been addressed directly to bankruptcy managers, insolvency administrators and owners of the South Moravia region companies, which have become insolvent. Innovations and consistent attitude towards them, the number of members and their function in the management of the enterprise, employees who are familiar with the visions and plans of business and outsourcing are defined as key areas for the function of a small and medium enterprise. My dissertation thesis offers a rapid test in corporate health with regard to the hypothesis identified in a particular company ond it offers a detection whether the company is healthy, immunocompromised or sick. The thesis also offers the following use of recommended remedies.

The cult of St. Barbara in medieval Bohemia
Zelenková, Adéla ; Kubín, Petr (advisor) ; Doležalová, Eva (referee)
The bachelor thesis deals with the cult of Saint Barbara in medieval Bohemia. Saint Barbara is a legendary saint whose martyrdom is estimated to have occurred around 306. Saint Barbara was first venerated in the East. The cult was imported to Italy during the Byzantine occupation in the 6th century, from there was spread further north of the Alps. The cult experienced its greatest expansion in the West in the 14th century. The cult of Saint Barbara was spread in Bohemia in the 14th century and never achieved such popularity as cults of other saints (for example Saint Catherine). The popularity of the Saint Barbara cult in Bohemia has been reconstructed mainly on the basis of the frequency of dedications of churches, chapels and altars.

Part of it is reflection on the development of Jewish settlement in the Czech lands with regard to significant events affecting Jews of the Holy Roman Empire, specifically the wave of pogroms which happened in the years 1346-49.

The cult of Saint Martin in medieval Bohemia
Šárovcová, Klára ; Kubín, Petr (advisor) ; Doležalová, Eva (referee)
The master thesis deals with the cult of St. Martin of Tours in pre-Hussite Bohemia. The cult of St. Martin established itself in Tours in the second half of the 5th century, became the main Frankish saint during the 6th century, and maintained its position as one of the most important patrons of the kingdom during the reign of the Carolingians, from where veneration of him spread throughout Europe. After the cult of Martin came to Bohemia indirectly before the influence of the Archbishopric of Mainz probably during the reign of Vratislav II, he became one of the most important saints after the middle of the 12th century. The aim of the study is to present an analysis of the spread and manifestations of the cult of St. Martin in pre-Hussite Bohemia and to describe the influences that contributed to this process. The work is based on both historical analysis of sources and interdisciplinary research, which illustrates the overall picture of the cult. Keywords Saint Martin of Tours, cult, Sulpicius Severus, hagiography, Prague diocese, patrocinium
In the shadow of Swedish cannonballs over Prague in 1648 - the transformation of historical narrative across the centuries
Fišera, Tadeáš ; Doležalová, Eva (advisor) ; Čechura, Jaroslav (referee)
The Thirty Years' War (1618-1648) became a global conflict which subsequently involved nearly every country of Europe. The reason for the war was not only the complicated religious situation caused by the fragmentation of the Roman Church in which the Protestant- Union and Catholic League stood against each other, but also political and economic issues. Political reasons can be characterized by the expansion of the House of Hapsburgs into surrounding lands through which they attempted to gain political leadership and supremacy over Europe. The goal of the diploma thesis is not to reconstruct historical event of The Thirty Years' War, but to capture its historical narrative and its changes throughout the centuries. Starting point of the thesis is the year 1648 when the last fights of the war took place during Swedish occupation of Prague. For months, Prague became almost a defence fortress which withstood the Swedish protestant army. This event has been reflected in the picture of national history in two ways: one - the heroic withstanding of Prague citizens of the enemy army, second - the definitive defeat of the hopes of restitution of relations before The Battle of the White Mountain of the utraquistic and protestant fracture of Czech society.

99 Bibliografická citace Církevní dějiny Benešova ve světle archeologických výzkumů /rukopis/: diplomová práce / Váňová Libuše; vedoucí práce: Petr Kubín. - Praha, 2011. - 99 s. Klíčová slova: Církevní dějiny Benešova - historie města - archeologie Abstrakt: Thesis "Ecclestical History of Benesov in the light of archeological research" is based on Publisher work, which charts the history of...
