Comparison of geometry of vaults of historical buildings with computational model
Dobrovolný, Tomáš ; Keršner, Zbyněk (referee) ; Frantík, Petr (advisor)
Thesis deals with the study of the shape of the actual vault and its modeling. Modeling is based on the computation of the pressure line using a chain model. It is investigated whether the builders could in the past derive the shape of the vault by means of a chain on which they suspended the weights. To compare the actual arch with the model, the entrance vault of St. Jacob's Church in Brno was selected.
Characterization of oxide dispersion strengthened alloys prepared from various precursor materials
Dobrovolný, Tomáš ; Havlík, Petr (referee) ; Moravčík, Igor (advisor)
Submitted master’s thesis studies the influence of input precursors (powders) on the resulting properties of prepared steels. When manufactured using the mechanical alloying method, the input powders can have a significant effect on the resulting properties. The austenitic steel 15-15Ti (1.4970) was chosen as the prepared alloy, which is gradually beginning to find application in nuclear energy. In this work, two approaches were used to produce this steel powder, firstly the production of an alloy from the precursor powder of austenitic steel AISI 304L and secondly the alloy was produced only from pure elements. For each of these methods, two different milling conditions were chosen. Thus, a total of four mixtures of 15-15Ti austenitic steel powders were produced, which were sintered into bulk materials using the SPS method. Mechanical properties of sintered specimens were tested by a tensile test and a hardness measurement by Vickers hardness test. At the same time, microstructure analysis using SEM and phase composition analysis by XRD were performed, both for prepared powders and for sintered bulks.
Making a replica of mace head
Dobrovolný, Tomáš ; Janský, Vojtěch (referee) ; Bořil, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor thesis focuses on technology for production of mace head replicas. The theoretical part analyzes the technologies that will be used in its production. Starting with Rapid prototyping technology, which will be used to build the model to casting possibilities, either by evaporating casting or sand casting. The practical part describes the creation of a computer model, its printing using a 3D printer and subsequent casting by both mentioned methods.
Modelling and experimental verification of zipline
Dobrovolný, Tomáš ; Keršner, Zbyněk (referee) ; Frantík, Petr (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the numerical modeling of the zip-line and its experimental verification on a small scale. An experimental zip-line is identified and then the results are compared with the numerical model outputs. The goal is to validate abilities of the numerical model in the case of simulation of a zip-line.

Analýza prostředí v chovu dojnic na vybrané farmě
DOBROVOLNÝ, Tomáš
The theoretical part of the diploma thesis focuses on sources of noise in stables for dairy farming. This issue also relates to welfare of cattle and the last subject to be dealt with can be called working environment in livestock production in terms of noise load. The practical part is focused on the description of technological equipment of the stables with a plan of the measured objects. The measurement of noise levels during technological operations with cattle was carried out at selected dairy cows at the workplaces of the Agricultural Cooperative of Velká Losenice. Then the work deals with measurement of the operator's noise load during the partial operations necessary to ensure the process of dairy cows breeding. At the end of the diploma thesis the processing of individual measurement results in individual operations in measured objects is presented and evaluation of the noise load.

Hluková analýza v chovu dojnic ve vybraném podniku
DOBROVOLNÝ, Tomáš
In this bachelor thesis, especially in the theoretical part I focus on the construction of stalls and the technologies used in the dairy cows breeding. The next solved topic is welfare so as the last theme is the noise and its sources in the animal husbandries. The practical is focused on the description of the monitored stall unit. The noise level LpA measurement was done under the cattle load with the technological operations by the chosen dairy cows were observed in the workplaces of the agricultural cooperative in Velká Losenice. The results of measurements and comparisons in the chosen objects are introduced in the conclusion of this bachelor thesis.
