Integration health and social services
Slavíková, Martina ; Angelovská, Olga (advisor) ; Dobiášová, Karolína (referee)
In my thesis I deal with the integration of health and social services. I introduced the issue of two/double departmental service management and their financing, there. In addition, I described the various actors involved in the integration of services, mentioned strategic documents and legislation related to the provision of health and social care. In the case study, I mapped the health and social services provided in Louny, through street-level bureaucrats I gained information about the interconnection of services in Louny and about the factors that affect the implementation of integration of services in the town. For successful implementation of integration, it is necessary to specify the users of integrated health and social services, to create a home base for them, to provide a flexible range of services and at the same time to support the informally caring families. The lack of demand for integrated services is linked to other factors such as ignorance of citizens and low participation in caring for close relatives. Street.level bureaucrats in health and social services do not know the integration of services, they do not encounter it in practice, this factor has an impact on the motivation of street-level bureaucrats to make changes in the provision of care. An important factor is also the...
The comparation of pro-population policy dimensions before and after 1989.
Rábová, Kateřina ; Dobiášová, Karolína (advisor) ; Hejzlarová, Eva (referee)
Abstarct This diploma thesis deals with the problem of low fertility rate. The issue is examined through population policy approach as one of the factors that plays a role in deciding on the acquisition of a child. The development of population policy such a financial support, available care (kindergartens etc.) and housing policy is monitored throughout the period from 1960 to the present by desk research of laws and historical documents. This overview is then, through the findings of individual interviews, given into the context of the memories and feelings of women who have lived or are actually living under these conditions of population policy. As a result the thesis brings a historical view of mothers, which is otherwise undetectable. Regarding to this the housing policy and housing in general have proven to be the most fundamental area that structure the decisions process on the acquisition of a child. This area has been characterized by strong support from the state in the past, but now young people are concerned about it. Young people are so worried about not having a place to live and establishing a family that the life cycle of an individual has changed. Compared to most of my reporting period, young people are now more likely to postpone the timing of a child's acquisition decision.
The creation and enforcement of psychiatric care reform in the Czech republic
Pluhař, Filip ; Dobiášová, Karolína (advisor) ; Kotherová, Zuzana (referee)
The aim of the thesis is to find and describe important moments that led to the enforcement of the psychiatric care reform. This reform was adopted 24 years after the fall of the communism. Until then, all attempts to change the psychiatric care system had failed. This healthcare segment has long been underfinanced and mainly institutional care prevails. Often, aftercare is not ensured, so it is very difficult for a person who is released from care to be involved in normal life. Also, stigmatization of people with mental illness prevails. Here, reform represents a solution to these and many other problems that the current psychiatry has. This research should answer the question why this strategy was successfully enforced and what was behind it. Using the theory of three currents and interviews with important actors, it discusses the various events and circumstances which have been used by the policy promoters to successfully achieve the approval of the reform. It examines the different motives of actors, their function and roles in the creation and promotion of the reform. The causes of enforcement are sought both in the Ministry of Health itself and in the EU or interest organizations outside the traditional institutions. The thesis can answer the question whether in this case it was the usual...

Bílková, Kateřina ; Dobiášová, Karolína (advisor) ; Angelovská, Olga (referee)
This bachelor thesis deals with the topic of the framing of pension policy between the years 2013-2017 on the platform of House of Commons. The goal of the research is to identify competing frames and their sponsors, their evolution in the analyzed period and the possible impact the framing had on the final form of the policies. That is achieved using the analysis of the stenographic records and voting of the House of Commons based on the Rein and Shön method through which the frames are reconstructed. In the theoretical chapter there are presented the two fundamental pension models by Bismarck and Beveridge, as well as the pillar system designed by the World Bank. The outcome of the analysis is the identification of the two competing discourses and the schemes of framing of the topics discussed throughout the analyzed period cathegorized based on the scheme inspired by the works of Morávek. The analysis documents the evolution of frames in time and their linkage to the previous election period.
