Daphnia hybridization in canyon-shaped reservoirs
Dlouhá, Štěpánka
ABSTRACTS Part 1 Canyon-shaped reservoirs, characteristic by elongated morphology and by ecologically diverse conditions along both horizontal and vertical reservoir axes, are good model systems for ecological studies of zooplankton communities. Presence of ecological gradients improves habitat differentiation and may facilitate coexistence of related species. Here we provide detailed study of genetic structure of the Daphnia longispina complex inhabiting three canyon-shaped reservoirs. Using 12 microsatellite loci, we assessed taxonomic and genetic structure of assemblages composed by populations of D. galeata, D. cucullata, D. longispina and their interspecific hybrids. We focused on detailed taxon determination and on patterns of hybridization and introgression. High number of distinct hybrid genotypes in the samples suggested high frequency of hybridization; despite this, later generation hybrids were rare. In one reservoir inhabited by a single species, D. galeata, we also tested if environmental gradients may cause intra-population genetic diversification similar to spatial differentiation in species composition. Subpopulations along horizontal gradient in the reservoir, as well as those in different layers of the stratified water column, were significantly genetically differentiated. We propose that...

An analysis of the verification, evaluation and classification of practical skills in the subject Practical Training
Dlouhá, Štěpánka ; Kříž, Emil (advisor) ; Kutílek, Josef (referee)
The topic of the thesis is "Analysis of screening, evaluation and classification of practical skills for teaching the subject vocational training". The work is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part is mainly involved in screening, assessment and classification. The first part contains chapters dealing with education - the education system of the Czech Republic, diagnostics, teacher's personality, teaching methods, evaluation, auditing and evaluation methods. The last two chapters are dedicated to the classification, the criteria and principles and classification levels. In the practical part I find out how students in the first year of OSVs in Pilsen, majoring Gardening lead in acquiring knowledge and skills. I describe the individual students practical skills, and compare the results of selected work package. The resulting works of pupils are evaluated and compared in two groups of teaching. These groups of students are compared with groups of pupils last year. All information and data were obtained by observation. On the basis of the survey showed that the majority of pupils reaching gradually the necessary skills and the results of their work package are similar to those in the previous year.
Customer Satisfaction Analysis for AUTO DORDA Ltd. Company
Jirásková, Michaela ; Dlouhá, Štěpánka (referee) ; Chalupský, Vladimír (advisor)
The diploma thesis is devoted to the analysis of customers satisfaction at AUTO DORDA Ltd. Company. The theoretical section is focused on the way of the customer satisfaction analysis, marketing research and connected notions. Theoretical knowledge is used in the practical part, where there are results of the research implemented by GfK CZ company reviewed. Results of the research were the base for processing the questionnaire dealing with critical areas and it was given away to respondents, I mean AUTO DORDA customers. Proposals and disposals were compiled on the basis of gained information and they lead to increasing standard of customers satisfaction of the analysed company.
