Assesing the complience of nature conservation in the Czech republic with international strategic objectives

The subject of the master thesis is the assessment of the compliance of nature conservation in the Czech Republic with international strategic objectives, analysing the mainstreaming of biodiversity across government and society and analysing the fulfilment of the commitments rising for the Czech Republic as a member of the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD). The thesis is focused on an assessment of strategic goal A of the Strategic Plan for Biodiversity 2011-2020 and its 4 Aichi targets related to the mainstreaming of biodiversity and ecosystem services in society and policy. The methodology used is a systematic search of available relevant documents and other related sources, especially the national reports from the Ministry of the Environment to the Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity and other associated analysis and reports. Another aim of the thesis is summarizing the current state of the mainstreaming of biodiversity to governance and decision making and identifying the areas which are not included in the national strategic documents or are not included sufficiently. Properties of near-horizon geometry of spacetimes

Nowadays, the near-horizon regions of black holes have enjoyed great attention thanks to their role in the popular AdS/CFT correspondence and their specific geometry suitable for formulations of uniqueness theorems in higher dimensions. A strictly general-relativistic point of view reveals also many interesting phenomena taking place near black-hole horizons. Our aim was to investigate how horizon multiplicity affects near-horizon geometry, geodesical distance, radial motion of photons and massive, charged particles, and also the possibility of collision processes leading to unbound collision energies near the horizon. We chose the Reissner-Nordström-de Sitter metric, which, on the one hand, is simple thanks to being static and spherically symmetric but which, on the other hand, is rich enough to enable the existence of up to a doubly degenerate ultra-extreme horizon. After discussing the physical feasibility of the near-horizon limit, we applied it to single, double, and triple horizons, their near-horizon geometries, and local collision processes. Changes of textbooks in time

The topic of this diploma thesis is Changes of textbooks in time. The purpose of the thesis is to identify changes in Czech for foreigners textbooks published after 1945. The thesis consists of the theoretical part and the research part. History of teaching Czech as a foreign language is presented in the theoretical part. There is also delimitation of the textbooks that will be included in the research. Textbooks are evaluated according to criteria that are laied down in the theoretical part as well. The system of textbooks evaluation is described in the research part. A survey of evaluated textbooks (according to the criteria) follows. The textbooks are arranged in order of the year of issue and divided into subchapters (periods: 40s, 50s ...). Typical features of each period are also added in each subchapter. There are developmental change lines in the last chapter of the research part that are identified according to criteria laied down in the research part.

Evaluation criteria of media products from the perspective of media education

Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou mediální výchovy. Teoretická část obsahuje stručný přehled faktů, která se týkají médií, jejich fungování a vlivu na společnost. Zvláštní pozornost je věnována mediálním produktům určeným dětem předškolního věku. Na základě zmapování mediálního prostředí a cílů mediální výchovy ve vzdělávacích programech základních a mateřských škol jsou definována kritéria hodnocení mediálních produktů určených pro děti předškolního věku. Současně s rámcovými cíli formulovanými v Rámcovém vzdělávacím programu pro předškolní výchovu jsou stanovená kritéria použita jako východisko pro vypracování průřezového projektu mediální výchovy v mateřské škole. Praktická část zjišťuje aktuální situaci v oblasti mediálního uvědomění u dětí v mateřské škole i jejich rodičů a dále obsahuje podrobný popis konkrétních cílů a průběh jednotlivých činnosti v rámci tohoto projektu. Functional sentence perspective of the wh-questions in Czech

Im theoretischen Teil meiner Diplomarbeit erláutere ich die Terminologie und den Sinn des Begriffes "die funktionale Satzperspektive". Ich zeige dabei an die differenzierten Behandlungen dieser Problematik in der tschechischen Linguistik, die die Terminologie betreffen. Ich bespreche neben der Satzgliederung in zwei Teile, námlich der Thema- Rhema-Struktur des Satzes, auch die Satzgliederung aufgrund des Aussagewertes der einzelnen Teile des Satzes, die sogenannte Aussagedynamik. (Begriff von J. Firbas) Ich interessiere mich auch fůr die Bearbeitung der funktionalen Satzperspektive, resp. der angewandten Terminologie, in den Lehrbůchern fůr Schúler auf den Hauptschulen und fůr Studenten der Fachmittelschulen und Gymnasien. Weiter verfolge ich funktionale Satzperspektive der tschechischen WFragen und fúhre ich differenzierte Meinungen an die Funktion des Interrogativausdrucks in den W- Fragen an. Im zweiten Teil meiner Diplomarbeit suché ich in den authentischen Texten alle Varianten der Satzgliedstellung in den tschechischen W-Fragen aus. Die Durchsuchung umfasst gesprochene, sowie geschriebene Texte. Die Nachforschung hat gezeigt, dass die Variante mit dem Interrogativwort inmitten der W-Frage, im heutigen Tschechischen kaum zu finden ist. Popularity of Sport Among the Students in the Czech republic

(English version): Title: Popularity of sport among the students in the Czech Republic. Goals: The goal of the dissertation is review and comment on the popularity of sport followed by the comparison between preferences ofmen and women. Method: I used in the dissertation methods of electronic poll usmg a questionnaire and furthermore, I utilized tables and graphs for the interpretation ofthe result. Results: The research revealed, that the popularity of sport in the Czech Republic is on very high level and also the expected trends are positive and no decrease is expected in this respect. Language of semi-prepared speech

Cílem této práce je hláskoslovná a morfologická analýza mluvených textů rozhlasové publicistiky. Při analýze jsme pracovali se třinácti zaznamenanými a přepsanými texty z let 2002-2005. Především jsme se zabývali otázkou, do jaké míry se v tomto typu projevů dodržuje spisovná norma, a výsledky jsme porovnali se závěry pěti dřívějších výzkumů mluvené češtiny. Zjistili jsme, že výskyt nespisovných prvků v našem vzorku je většinou nižší než v dřívějších výzkumech mluvené češtiny. Zároveň se však potvrdilo, že zejména některé nespisovné prvky mají tendenci pronikat i do projevů zřetelně tíhnoucích ke spisovnosti. Analyzované polopřipravené projevy proto hodnotíme jako projevy jazykově smíšené s převahou spisovných prvků.

The competition of the object in instrumental and adverbiale modi

Diplomová práce se zabývá dvěma zásadními problémy. Snaží se vysvětlit podstatu konkurence objektu a adverbiále modi v instrumentálu a navrhuje řešení sporných případů vyplývající ze sledování vybraných sloves a jejich vztahů v ČNK. Práce se nejdříve věnuje vymezení větných členů (objektu a adverbiále modi), jejich charakteristice a rozlišení na základě dostupné jazykovědné literatury. Dále došlo uvedení větných členů do vztahů pojmenování těchto vztahů. Byla vymezena skupina problematických případů, o jejichž řešení se autor snaží ve druhé, stěžejní praktické části. Práce se nevěnuje pouze formálnímu popisu větných členů a jejich vztahů, ale zabývá se také sémantickou podstatou obého. Z širšího pozorování vzešla množina sledovaných sloves vhodných pro zjednodušené hledání řešení konkurence objektu a adverbiále modi, které je možné na základě širokého rozpětí zkoumaného materiálu zobecnit. V praktické části se nalézá rozbor (formální, funkční i sémantický) sloves s implikovaným (slovotvorné příbuzným) instrumentem (objektem nebo adverbiále modi). Na základě tohoto rozboru autor došel závěrům, které jsou v závěru uvedeny a zobecněny.

Negative language transfer students for English-speaking Czech as a foreign language. Applied contrastive linguistic study on the material selected Czech and English verbs with the meaning of interpersonal communication

Práce je zaměřena na problematiku negativního jazykového transferu anglicky mluvicích studentů češtiny jako ciziho jazyka. Na materiálu deseti českých sloves s významem interpersonálni komunikace, totiž říci (si), říkat (si), říkávat (si), mluvit, hovořit, povědět, povídat (si), oznámit, informovat a konstatovat, ukazuje, jaký obraz jazykového jednáni je typický pro rodilé mluvči češtiny. V porovnáni s převzatou analýzou anglických lexémů speak, talk, say a tell stanovuje shody a rozdily obrazu jazykového jednáni v češtině a v angličtině a predikuje oblasti negativního jazykového transferu u anglicky mluvicich studentů češtiny jako ciziho jazyka.
