Retail Technology Trends

The aim of the thesis is to identify new technologies currently used in retail and to evaluate the attitudes of domestic customers to these technologies. Then, based on the findings, devise recommendations on the use of these new information technologies. The diploma thesis deals with individual information technologies which are used in the Czech Republic and abroad, but also with those that are still being developed. With the help of research, the topic of retail technology is viewed from the perspective of customers.

Potential of Environmental Measures in Accomodation Establishments in Pelhřimov region

The thesis focuses on accommodation facilities in Pelhřimov Region and its goal is to find out the environmentally friendly behaviour. The work also examines whether accommodation facilities utilize environmental measures and whether they have established an environmental policy or so called green management. The issue of environmental protection is a worrying trend at present and therefore the results of this work will be very beneficial to the operators of accommodation facilities. First all the concepts related to the environment and all issues associated with environmental protection are explained. The research is conducted through interviewing. Respondents were asked personally, by phone or via e-mail. Based on the result of the research, the environmental measures that save costs in different areas and are environmentally friendly are recommended to the leaders of accommodation facillities.

Use of on-line diagnostic tools in selecting employees

This thesis deals with the possibilities of using on-line diagnostic tools in selecting employees. The theoretical part of the thesis summarizes the theoretical basis for selection of employees, psychodiagnostics and on-line diagnostics. Attention is paid to psycho diagnostic characteristics and determination of preferences and risks of on-line diagnostics. The practical section examines and assesses the individual tools on-line diagnostics available for selection of employees on the Czech market - specifically, by the company Access Assessment s.r.o., Assessment Systems s.r.o., cut-e czech s.r.o and www.SCIO.cz, s.r.o. The tools are evaluated on the basis of psychometric features, factor is the standardization, objectivity, reliability and validity, as these characteristics determine the quality of the questionnaire or test. The result is a recommendation of an on-line questionnaire and tests that are for standard practice in the selection procedure most applicable.
