Software of a Logistics Company with a Focus on Processing of Accounting Data

This paper assesses the topic Software of a Logistics Company with the Focus on Processing of Accounting Data. The thesis deals with software used in the company Prima Logistics, s.r.o. for different processes in accounting or logistics. The company operates with the accounting software POHODA, the payroll accounting PAMICA and the logistics software SPEDIČKA. All these software programs are introduced and then their modules are analyzed. Some neccessary data or information was gained trough the interviews with accountants and management of the company or by using the mentioned software. The result of this analysis is completely satisfaction with the payroll accounting system PAMICA, partial satisfaction with the accounting software POHODA and a displeasure with the logistics software SPEDIČKA. So it is neccessary to substitute this logistics software within the two or three years with another one. There are two possibilities: The company can buy a CargoWise programme which is supported by the HTFN international network or transcribe the data from the SPEDIČKA into a cloud environment. A more realistic solution is probably the cloud solution, because it is cheaper and it solves the problem with full capacity of the software.
