Bryantsev, Eifman, Yelizariev: ways of the Soviet choreography of '80s and '90s of the 20th century

This work is about three famous personalities of the Soviet ballet in the second half of the 20thcentury; Valentin Yelizariev, Dmitry Bryancev and Boris Eifman. Through their works we can see an influence of social, cultural and political events on the progression of ballet and art in the countries of Post Soviet Union. The first part of the work focuses on art works of choreographers from the '70s of the 20th century till nowdays. The second part focuses on their works made in the middle of the '90s. The end of the work shows how their works were influ-enced by political changes.
Dance movement therapy and it´s applications within the conditions of the Czech Republic,

This thesis provides a comprehensive overview of dance movement therapy and the condition surrounding its application in the Czech Republic. It also proposes to introduce this psychotherapeutic method as a supplementary treatment therapy for eating disorders. The theoretical part of this thesis is based on knowledge taken from educational literature by variety of Czech and foreign authors and the practical part is derived from specific research that includes two case reports of clients with eating disorders as well as interviews with experts.
Application of Laban Movement Analysis in Dance-Movement Education

This bachelor thesis deals with the dance artist, theorist and choreographer Rudolf Laban and the selected parts of Laban Movement Analysis (LMA). It focuses on the possibilities of using LMA in dance and movement education of children and youth. It introduces Laban's ideas on dance and movement education of children of different ages along with basic movement themes which can be applied in education of dance and movement. The thesis briefly presents Laban's publications related to education. The author further describes her own experience with application of LMA (which she studied at Academy of Performing Arts in Prague) and gives particular examples of applying LMA in education.

Bachelor Thesis Dance Department J.L.Bellu in Banska Bystrica proposes a brief overview into history and formation of dance department and its functioning up to present. The Thesis tells us more about the specific approach of individual pedagogues, successes of previous students and different circumstances, which have contributed to the formation of dance department. In a strong Bystricky region, this department creates an important role in forming of professional dancers. Bystricky region has built a stable place for creation of contemporary dance in Slovakia. Influence of Breath in classical Dance

Influence of brath on performance in classical dance. Goal of work: The aim of this master thesis is to introdukce the posibility of using conscious breathing not only to perform technically more difficult elements easier, but also in the preparation of dancers to the artistic performance. Method: Comparing thematic literature, questionnare in between the dancers and student sof dance, measuring the breathing of a dancer during the dance variation.
The use of preparatory and compensatory exercises in technique M. Graham (Center work)

In the thesis I decided to follow up on a topic that I worked in the bachelor thesis. It is the use of preparatory and compensatory exercises in technique M.Graham in the part "Center Work". The main aim of my work is based on these exercises prepare students to better perform each exercise, with regard to the correct anatomical and kinesiological knowledge. I would also like to take this technology could bring not only to students of conservatories, but also to the general public dance.
Dance in the Work of Bohuslav Martinů

The first part of the thesis called Dance in the Work of Bohuslav Martinů focuses on fourteen Martinů´s ballets that have been staged so far. The following part is devoted to dance adaptations of Martinů´s concert opuses. The final part of the thesis deals with three Martinů´s operas which include dance scenes: The Soldier and the Dancer, The Plays of Mary and The Suburban Theatre. The appendices comprise librettos of selected works and musical scores with stage directions written by the composer; the enclosed CD contains archive photographs of stage designs and photographs from performances.
Dance writing in Bohemia 1925-1939

This bachelor thesis deals with dance writing in Bohemia between years 1925 and 1939. During this period, the specialist theoretical reflection of dance developed, especially thanks to two main personalities - Emanuel Siblík and Jan Reimoser. Individual chapters deal with particular period journals, such as Divadlo, Rozpravy Aventina, Útok and Klíč. The occurence and number of all texts concerning dance is described and compared, as well as their content, scope and individual style of authors, writing about dance. Separate chapter deals with periodicals specialising in dance (Živý tanec, Taneční listy and Taneční revue). The thesis therefore represents an insight of theoretical and critical dance writing in Bohemia within various periodicals.
