Analysis of the organizational culture of a manufacturing company

The Master's Thesis is aimed to analyse the organizational culture of a manufacturing company in order to provide sufficient materials for the following decision making of the executive director of the company in terms of its future course. Each method was used while taking into consideration to cover both qualitative and quantitative research approach due to multidimensional character of the studied phenomena. The current state of the topic is included in the thesis. The combination of Denison Organizational Culture Survey and group interview based on Edgar H. Schein was newly applied during the research which may contribute to practitioners considering a similar analysis in their organizations. Main research findings and recommendations are discussed in the end of the thesis.
Women in Management

The main claim of this thesis is to outline the situation of the VŠE graduates using the analyse of secondary data. In the theoretical part I present the differences between men and women, describe the main barriers which disallow women to get to the top management positions and the reasons which cause the disbalance between men and women wages. Furthermore in the text is shown methods how to eliminate the gender disbalance existing in organisations and the way how to synchronise work with the family life. In the practical part by using secondary data and different studies I try to characterise from gender point of view the czech labor market,to examine the status of czech women and their income in the management area and to compare it with VŠE graduates situation.
Motivation system of firm and satisfaction of its employees

My work is focused on problems in motivation system of firm ''X'' and satisfaction evaluation of its employees. The theoretical part discusses the general nature of motivation and each solution targeted on the methods of remuneration. The empirical part solves the analysis of the various elements of the incentive system such as financial reward, benefits or future career growth. Finally, there are suggested solutions for incentive program of the firm ''X'' and their possible implementation.
Virtual Teams

This thesis explores issues of virtual teams. This research is running on premise of the University. The aim of this paper is to discover psychological aspects and specifics of University's virtual teams. Also, it should ascertain difference between common team cooperation and Managerial Game's team cooperation. The Managerial Game is some lesson which it has all preconditions for virtual team formation. In theoretical part, I am focused on theory about virtual organizations and virtual teams. In practical part, I am researching aims realization using by questionnaires and moderated interviews.
Corporate Culture in the ŠKODA AUTO a. s.

This bachelor thesis called "Corporate Culture in the ŠKODA AUTO a. s." is focused on analysing a current situation of the corporate culture in the ŠKODA AUTO a. s. It compares it with my own definition of the "Simply Clever" corporate culture determined for this company which is nowadays developing. The aim is to suggest recommendations that will lead to the better level of the corporate culture in the ŠKODA AUTO a. s. That means to reach the corporate culture under "Simply clever" conditions. The theoretical part is based on technical literature. This part specifies the term "corporate culture" and other parts of "corporate identity" such as "corporate design", "corporate communication" and "product". According to the internal documents of the company and my own experience gained during the voluntary training programme, the practical part contains these parts: characteristics of the ŠKODA AUTO a. s., description of its development and of progressive implementation of corporate culture of Volkswagen Group concern into the company ŠKODA AUTO a. s., the analysis of the current situation of the corporate culture, own definition of the "Simply Clever" corporate culture, formulation of suggestions that lead to improvement of corporate culture in the company ŠKODA AUTO a. s., and so to achieve the "Simply Clever" corporate culture based on the comparison of those two corporate cultures.
Motivation of the Manufacturing Company Employees

The following BA thesis deals with employees' motivation, its main focus being the inner motivation of the workers, their needs and motivation profiles in general. The work consists of a theoretical account of the said problematic reaching from explaining the basic terminology and sketching out the selected motivation theories to the concept of the worker in a certain company. This is followed by the practical part where the selected manufacturing company as well as the results of the carried out analysis are presented. These data were provided by means of a written enquiry about a certain part of the production, and their aim was to confirm or to falsify the beforehand laid down hypotheses. These were above all concerned with the personal characteristics of a worker employed in a manufacturing company.
Psychology of selling in wholesale and retail

The aim of this work is to clarify the fundamental role and impact of psychology and buzzmarketing in practice. Also approach the most important tools needed to understand the proper utilization of all their advantages, such as procedures to become a successful professional seller, how to avoid failure and to be able to cope with problems, how to communicate with clients and how is this all influenced by the motivation itself. The work provides an overview of how psychology of selling is closely related to buzzmarketing. These theoretical findings are substantiated and analyzed on the basis of empirical research in wholesale and in depth research in a particular retail chain.
Strategic brand management in social networks

In my bachelor thesis I tried to describe the possibility of the brand support and strategic management in social networks. The theoretical part describes the psychological aspects of the popularity of social networking and includes several studies describing the psychological portrait of the potential users of social networks, which could help companies to understand who belongs to their target group in case of using social networking as a marketing tool. The thesis includes analysys of the social networking environment, so that czech companies of different sizes could understand the use of its potential. The questionnaire, which subject is the use of the social networking environment by companies for commercial purposes, is salso included in the practical part of the thesis. The answers are provided by the representative of Communications and Marketing Department at GE Money Bank Czech Republic, Mr. Jan Vyšehradský. The theoretical part and the example of GE Money Bank describe why it is appropriate to use social networking as a marketing tool, and what results from it can be expected. The main idea of the practical part of the thesis is creating a strategic plan that may be used as a guide to Czech entrepreneurs for establishing, evaluating and managing corporate pages in social networks such as Facebook.
Job value preferences of students

The thesis deals with value preferences of students regarding their future employment. It focuses on job values, achievement motivation and motivation to work, as well as self -- esteem and financial crisis and its impacts on the Czech Republic. The thesis also includes the results of an empirical research, which I made among students of University of Economics in Prague. The research is focused on job values of students and their personality characteristics (achievement motivation and self -- esteem) that influence the formation of job values. The research also reflects the students' opinions on financial crises and its impact on their future job and career.
Analysis of Leaders' Program and Design of Motivation Program

The thesis deals with a motivation of workers in the non-profit sector who participate in a run of organizations as volunteers. In the theoretical part basic concepts are explained with an emphasis on personality and motivation. Specifics of the non-profit sector and a voluntary question are clarified and in conclusion selected nonprofit organization -- Association of Scouts and Guides of the Czech Republic is presented. The practical part is an empirical research. In its framework, results of a survey are evaluated, validity of the defined hypotheses is tested and a motivation program is proposed with the aim of workers'satisfaction and motivation increase.
