Nursing care of the patient with rectal carcinoma

The aim of my dissertation case study nursing patient care J. V. born in 1940. In November 2009 was operated for rectal cancer. This surgical procedure is held in the Regional Health a.s. - Center for Robotic Surgery Usti nad Labem. Clinical part on the characteristics, anatomy and physiology of the colon intestine and rectum. Further studies include tumor pathology, clinical symptoms, diagnosis and treatment of KR-CA. Interesting is also the prognosis, prevention and follow-up this disease. The work also contains basic information about the patient at a time hospitalization. The nursing part of the work deals with the nursing process and nursing model by Marjory Gordon: "The model of functional health," according to which I evaluated the patient. I determined the order of the current and potential nursing diagnoses. To determine the nursing diagnoses I received information about the patient (with his consent) from personnel from the patient's own observation, medical treatment and the documentation. I compiled the following nursing diagnoses 4th day of hospitalization, (2nd postoperative day) and I created a short-term nursing care plan.
