The Vibrattion Measurement Methods of the Engineering Components under Rotation
Budek, P. ; Chmelíček, M. ; Jehlička, Vladimír
The paper describes vibration measurement methods under rotation of mounted wheels and steam turbine blades and signal transfer from rotating components to evaluation devices. The aothors devote to solution of radio telemetric transfer signal problems in the paper.
The Prediction of Noise and Vibration through the Use of Software Means
Budek, P. ; Chmelíček, M. ; Jehlička, Vladimír
The report describes the process of building a model of vehicles and prediction of noise path on the basic of Statistical Energy Analysis. The report emphasizes legislative needs, which ask for the lowestlevel of noise pollution inside and outside of public transportation vehicles.
Undesirable Noise Phenomena Generated by Semiconductor Converters
Budek, P. ; Chmelíček, M. ; Jehlička, Vladimír
The broad use of modern semiconductor converters, whose outstanding features are steep increase in current and switching frequency usually in the range 2 to 3 kHz, often incurs undesirable noise phenomena in electric drives used in vehicles of city mass transportation. The presented paper is focused on locating the sources of noise and on its transportation to the interior of the vehicle.
Computing Methods of Noise, Vibration and Electromagnetic Waves Diffusion
Budek, P. ; Jehlička, Vladimír ; Nečesaný, Jakub
The paper deals with the utilization of SW means for the predition of noise and electromagnetic emission in vehicles of city mass transportation. It also compares the results of experimental measurements with the results obtained through mathematical simulations and modeling.
Computation Simulation of Noise and Electromagnetic Waves in City Mass Transport Vehicles
Budek, P. ; Chmelíček, M. ; Jehlička, Vladimír ; Nečesaný, Jakub
New problems emerge in the vehicles of city mass transportation due to the development, change of the some structure or application of the new devices. These problems are noise, vibration and electromagnetic interference. They were aimed at finding their sources, at verifying their influence and finding methods for their limitation.

Noise, vibration and electromagnetic phenomena produced by semiconductor converters in traction vehicles
Budek, P. ; Chmelíček, M. ; Jehlička, Vladimír ; Škramlík, Jiří
Due to the recent employment of up-to-date control electronic and electromechanical devices in cars of City Mass Transportation, new problems arise concerning the dynamics, noise, and the radiation of electromagnetic fields. Their environmental impacts, however, have not been discussed sufficiently, so far.
EMI Generated by Trolley-Bus with IGCT-Based Drive
Budek, P. ; Doležel, Ivo ; Jehlička, Vladimír ; Škramlík, Jiří ; Valouch, Viktor
The paper describes the employment of a new IGCT element in a dc chopper designed for feeding a dc trolley-bus traction motor. The discussed radiated EMI noise generated during the chopper operation was measured and calculated on a simplified model. The preliminary slow moving tests within the range 150 kHz - 30 MHz were performed. The results of the measurements of magnetic field exhibit the compliance with the European Standards EN 50121-2, EN 50121-3-1.
Transfer of the Noise and Vibration from the Motor to the Passenger Space
Budek, P. ; Chmelíček, M. ; Hejman, M. ; Jehlička, Vladimír
Development of the new trolley-bus or change of its structure requires the noise and vibration measurements. the goals of the manufacturer is to reduce the noise level in space of passengers in the trolley-bus. The paper describes the process of identification of the noise sources, investigation of the vibration transfer and simulation of the structural behaviour by FEM program COSMOS/M. The computation-based structural changes are suggested.
Noise, Vibration and Electromagnetic eFFects Generated by Semiconductor Converters in Traction Vehicles
Budek, P. ; Chmelíček, M. ; Jehlička, Vladimír
New problems emerge in the vehicles of city mass transportation due to application of new power switching devices and their control circuitry. Measurements were performed in a low-floor trolleybus ŠKODA 21Tr equipped with power converters based on GTOs and IGBTs. They were aimed at finding the sources of noise and vibrations in the passenger space, at verifying their influence and finding methods for their limitation. Similarly, The same attention was paid to the problems of electromagnetic interference.
