Wireless Nurse Care Calling
Bubník, Karel ; Sekora, Jiří (referee) ; Harabiš, Vratislav (advisor)
This work describes the design, construction a performance of such a complete wireless pager suitable for health care centers, rest homes, home application, for example for calling an attendant. This appliance is designed to be easy to attendance. A wireless transceiver is simplified and is attended only by one button. A wireless receiver also doesn't require a complicated manipulation. The aim is to create pager, which will be an useful assistant thanks to its price and simple construction.
Software for multimedial stimuli presenting
Navrátil, Rudolf ; Sekora, Jiří (referee) ; Bubník, Karel (advisor)
This work deals with the affects of multimedia stimuli on the human body, their processing by senses, the possibility of presentation of the stimuli with emphasis on the possibility of measuring the impact of their effect on biological signals using external measuring station. It describes the design and implementation of the application, allowing presentation of the mentioned stimuli and their synchronization with external measuring system Biopac.
Skin resist and psycho-galvanic reflex
Trávníčková, Hana ; Bubník, Karel (referee) ; Chmelař, Milan (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor’s thesis was to clarify the phenomenon called psychogalvanic reflex, describe mechanism of its origin, its affects and use in practice. It analyzes the structure of the skin and its properties in terms of conducting electrical current, describes the phenomenon itself and discusses the conditions for its measurement. The practical part is devoted to the concept and realization of a simple psychogalvanometer. This device is connected with PC and acquired signal is processed by LabView.
Microcontroler based ECG Generator
Bureš, Michal ; Bubník, Karel (referee) ; Sekora, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis deals with the generation of an ECG signal and options how to generate a physiological or a pathological signal using the microprocessor. On the basis of the studied methods for generating signal was used the graphic method, using the table values to describe the an individual waves contained in the ECG signal. Bacherol’s thesis solves a design of the individual parts that are needed to realization the genererator. These parts are a block diagram, a system design and a flowchart. On the basis of a design is constructed and programmed function ECG signal generator.
Response of biological signals during acoustic and optical stimulation
Strakoš, Libor ; Chmelař, Milan (referee) ; Bubník, Karel (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is recording and evaluating of biological signals connected with autonomic nervous system. Changes in signals are caused by optical and acoustical stimuli. These stimuli are pictures of different meaning. Colors, basic symbols and neutral pictures with variance in colorization are included. Acoustic stimulation is provided by short startle stimulus of white noise sound impulse. Changes in signals are statistically and subjectively evaluated as changes in emotional state of tested person. Tested people fill in a questionnaire about their feelings. Results of signal processing and questionnaire are compared at the end.
Training system for clibmers
Polach, Pavel ; Sekora, Jiří (referee) ; Bubník, Karel (advisor)
The purpose of this diploma thesis was design and realisation of measuring system, enabling measuring forces between climber´s feet and holds on the climbing wall and using this measu-red values during a training of sport climber. In this thesis there are discovered possibilities about constructing this system and determina-ted basic requirements of measuring. There are also stated principles of application the strain gauges for measuring the tension. Descriptions of developping specific sensors, hardware interface and PC application are also part of this thesis. Constructed system was used for mea-suring climbers and values were analysed by using the application.
Chart of electromagnetic fields in GIS
Brachtl, Martin ; Bubník, Karel (referee) ; Rozman, Jiří (advisor)
The main goal in this bachelor thesis was to study the existence of electromagnetic fields in enviroment, and to study hygienic regulations. Then, to study functions of measurment system EMR-30 and to study UI of geographic information system ArcView and it´s abilities for data processing. Measurement of electromagnetic fields was carried out in the neighborhood of campus Pod Palackeho vrchem. For processing the measured data, creating maps and subsequent analysis were used programs ArcMap 10.1, ArcScene 10.1 and add-ons.
Effect of emotive stimulation in EEG signal
Vaněčková, Tereza ; Ronzhina, Marina (referee) ; Bubník, Karel (advisor)
This thesis deals with emotions and their effect on EEG signal. Firstly, method of electroencephalography, the method of scanning EEG signal, its properties, frequency bands and signal affecting factors are described. The following is an explanation of emotions, its expression, theories of emotion origin, dimensions, classification and lateralization of emotional experience. Furthermore, review of studies that have influenced this work is provided. The practical part consists of the experimental measurement description, principle of stimuli selection, signal EEG recording using the Emotiv EPOC device and the Self-Assessment Manikin evaluation. There are also clarified methods of data processing and selection of emotion related features of EEG signal. The final section summarizes the achieved results and outlines possible continuation of emotional states recognizing.
Polygraphic measurement of stress
Faltýnková, Květoslava ; Kolář, Radim (referee) ; Bubník, Karel (advisor)
This work deals with polygraphic measurement of stress. The paper describes the physiological manifestations of stress induced as a result of false answers to the question and ways to measure these phenomena. It focuses mainly on changes in heart rate, blood pressure, respiration and skin resistance. It is designed to work in the block diagram of polygraph, described the course of measurement and evaluation. The work is also mention of lie detection using EEG.
Response of biological signals on multimedia content
Ondrášková, Lucie ; Chmelař, Milan (referee) ; Bubník, Karel (advisor)
This paper explains the concept of emotion, emotion dimension and how emotions relate to the central nervous system. Additionally, there is research that were the inspiration for this work, the basic types of emotions and their physiological responses. The following are ways to monitor signals caused by emotions. The practical part deals with the sensing signals from the periphery of the body, specifically the EDA, EMG, EOG and PPG. As stimuli to elicit these signals were used photography, music and film. The signals were processed using the program developed in Matlab. Program specific values obtained were statistically analysed.
