Women's awareness of the abortion-related issues.

The main aim of my bachelor thesis is to find out how well women are informed about the issue of artificial termination of pregnancy. The thesis is divided into the theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part, I briefly defined the term "abortion", described an evolution of abortion in the context of history in general and in the Czech Republic in particular. I also presented basic views on abortion, abortion methods, described post-abortive syndrome, and recommended fundamental steps that a woman should follow after termination of pregnancy. I gained this information by studying professional literature. In the practical part, I listed six selected partial goals and formulated questions related to them, which are stated in evaluation questionnaire. Then I evaluated the research within the framework of these partial goals on the basis of answers which I had received. As a method of collecting data for the practical part of the bachelor thesis, I used an internet questionnaire survey. I processed the data using tables and charts. The research results show that most women have some knowledge about the problem of abortion, for example, most women know what ways to perform an abortion exist, and they are also well aware of the risks and complications that may arise alongside this procedure....
