Firstly, it studies how the concept of confimation is reflected in the ECCB confirmation materials, i.e. in various protestant cathechisms, and secondly, how the issue is treated by members of the ECCB in their Church periodicals' contributions. It focuses on the large debate in the 1950's as well as on contributions since 2000.
