Perception of the issue of school discipline at the 2nd level of elementary school from the perspective of students and teachers

The diploma thesis is focused on the issue of discipline and indiscipline of pupils in the 2nd grade of selected elementary schools. The goal of the work is to find out how discipline and non-discipline are viewed not only by the students themselves, but also by their teachers. In the theoretical part, basic terms are defined and discipline is described from the perspective of several important theories. The work focuses on the difference in the perception of discipline and indiscipline through the eyes of the main actors of the educational process, on current manifestations of indiscipline and its causes. The practical research part of the diploma thesis captures the results of the research and describes the differences in the perception of the issue of discipline by teachers and pupils of the 2nd grade of selected elementary schools. For this qualitative research, I used the semi- standardized interview method. The interviews took place face-to-face at two primary schools - Roztoky u Prahy, Kralupy nad Vltavou. Other interviews were obtained remotely through online interviews. Teacher's authority by mental disability children

Diploma thesis deal with topic of teacher's authority, specifically by pupils with mild mental retardation. Authority is polysemous term so it is impossible to limit it only for one definition but it is necessary to look at it as a process which is formed in a long-term interaction - in this thesis namely between teachers and pupils. In the theoretical part I pay attention to the term authority in a historical and modern point of view and also contexts authority with phenomenons as for example media or discipline. Shortly I mention personality of pupils with mild mental retardation and teacher's personality. Attention is also paid to communication with pupils, solving problems at school and relationship teacher - pupil. In the practical part I condukt a survey of this phenomenon using qualitative method of halfstructured dialogues. In order to it could be objectively assessed perception of authority by pupils with mild mental retardation it is necessary to compare (their) results with pupils without mild mental retardation, with whom were led discussions too. Study of gender stereotypes of students (both girls and boys) of the selected basic schools

The thesis is aimed at finding if the ninth-year students (both girls and boys) of selected basic schools have been affected by gender stereotypes, and if the gender stereotypes approach their ideas, perception and decision making. Besides gender concept, the theoretical part also includes chapters related to gender theories, attitudes, gender stereotypes, equal opportunities for men and women in occupation, and the role of men and women in a family. The central chapter deals with topics of gender and education. The practical part of the thesis is focused on determining students'attitudes towards gender area. Using questionnaire inquiry, the author has got data from 204 students (both girls and boys). The obtained data were faced with finding from the relevant literature.

Theme: Child's life in a foster care This Bachelor Paper deals with the points at issue of a foster care, especially living together of foster parents and a child with educational problems taken into care. The goal of this Bachelor Paper is to introduce problems of foster care and show a real case of a child with educational problems and show how this situation is solved in this family. The Paper should provide an answer to what factors could affect educational problems of the child. The Paper is divided into two parts, theoretical and empirical ones. Elements of Information Literacy and Netiquette Knowledge among Primary School Students in Klatovy Region in the Czech Republic

This master thesis deals with some elements of information literacy throught the term netiquette. The netiquette's relation with etics and etiquette is described in the theoretical part. This part's interest lies in the organisations engaged in netiquette, cyberspace, language and chosen elements of information literacy in connection with the computer literacy. The empirical part of the research handles the knowledge of netiquette at 4th and 5th grade students of elementary schools. Using an anonymous questionnary, the research's objective was to discover the acquaintance of the term netiquette and to realise the differences of the acquirement according to the size of the location of their elementary school, to the sex of subject and to the socioeconomic status of students. The research detects the relation of the information literacy with more facts, as having computer at home, knowing how to use computer and internet, managing the basic manipulation, being familiar with the safety rules. Forms of risky behavior and their prevention

The title "Forms of risky behaviour and their prevention" predicates the focus of the thesis. The theoretical part is divided into three chapters. The first chapter characterizes risky behaviour and outlines its forms. The second chapter deals with the phenomenon of bullying. It describes its characters, types and forms, defines the types of progression and shows what to do when somebody investigates bullying. The third chapter is devoted to prevention. It gives basic information about effective prevention, legislation and institutions dealing with the primary prevention. Further it mentions the function of School Methodist of Prevention and Minimum Preventive Program. The empiric part provides a set of methodical and working sheets focusing on the education of harmonious social relationships. The activities included in these sheets are a part of a program for pupils, which can be one variation of bullying prevention. TITLE: Extra-curricular activities as a support to the School educational programmes SUMMARY: The diploma thesis deals with the theme of extra-curricular activities and their supporting the curricular documents. The objectives of this thesis are to describe how extra-curricular activities support the School Education Programmes and the acquisition of the cross-curricular subjects after class. To meet these objectives the author applies triangulation of qualitative methods with the grounded theory design. The benefits of this thesis lie in pointing out the fact that leisure time activities can support the acqusition of the cross curricular subjects in schools and the provision of further findings about the possibilities of extra-curricular activities within the frame of the School Education Programmes.
