The aim of this diploma thesis is to design an interior element for plant growth. The theoretical part is focused on the requirements of plants in cultivation, the distribution of interior elements based on plants needs for the cultivation and the effect of plants on man and the environment. The last chapter of the theoretical part deals with the analysis of current trends and attractions in the field of cultivation. The practical part deals with the design process, which is in form of sketches, 3D visualizations, and paper models. The practical part is also focused on the selection of suitable materials and the technological procedure for prototype production. The result of the work is the visualization of the element for indoor plant growth, structural drawings and prototype in the scale of 1: 1, which will be introduced in the defense of work.

The task of the thesis is to design seating element for dynamic sitting using molded plywood. The theoretical part focuses on the history, ways of sitting, ergonomics and alternative seating. In the theoretical part, there is also chapter dedicated to the technology of production material selected for the design. The practical part deals with the design process. At first, there is compiled reseach, which is connected to a part of sketching and 3D design to find the right shape, which also takes place using simple models of 1: 5 and 1: 1. The results of the thesis are 3D visualizations of chairs for dynamic sitting, model of 1: 5 made of molded plywood and construction drawings for production of prototypes.
