Performance limits, reliability and security of open source PBX

The aim of this thesis is to install and to configure three Open source PBXes Asterisk, Freeswitch and YATE. Furthermore, the aim is to realize the performance test and stability tests on three different HW configurations with the tester Spirent Abacus 5000. The scripts in bash were created to monitor PBX performance. Another part of the study is to analyze and to compare PBX security and to compare the Open Source PBX with a proprietary PBX Alcatel-Lucent OXE.

Size of delay of active network devices

The aim of this thesis was to study the properties of the active network elements (routers, switches) and to find out what factors affect the size of their latency. Furthermore, the objective was to choose the most appropriate method for measuring latency of the available active network devices depending on the device load, packet size and the configuration of devices. For measuring latency I used the simple script in the operating system Linux and program called PING.

Vliv termické úpravy dřeva na jeho navlhavost a smáčivost

Presented bachelor thesis discusses the effect of wood wettability change and contact weting angle change by heat treatment. Experimental measurements are performed for the wood of beech (Fagus sylvatica) and spruce (Picea abies), wherein three levels of heat treatment in the temperature range 100-180 °C are selected. For samples with this treatment are compiled experimental models of sorption isotherms, which are compared with one another and with the values of the theoretical models taken from literature. In the second part, the change of surface free energy and contact wetting angle for those samples is investigated. Contact wetting angle is taken from transversal section. That can have great influence for example in the case of linear-glued wood panels.
