Design of inter-operational transport in a manufacturing company according to the Industry 4.0 concept
Mravec, Roman ; Vyroubal, Petr (referee) ; Bayer, Robert (advisor)
Based on the description and definition of technology and processes falling within the vision of the fourth industrial revolution with the aim of creating intelligent factories, this diploma thesis deals with the principles of the Industry 4.0 concept in Hilti's production plant with a focus on transport and supply of production equipment. The aim of the work is to create a comprehensive proposal that takes into account all the necessary aspects associated with upgrading the existing state of inter-operational transport in a particular production line to fully automated, flexible and autonomous transport of materials and products in the context of Industry 4.0. A prerequisite for creating a design is the connection of automatically guided vehicles (AGVs) serving individual transport orders. The selection of the vehicle was made taking into account the safety of movement, the method of charging, the system and network integrity of existing and proposed technologies and components. The intention is not only to automate the inter-operational service, but also on the basis of the created automation concept, the ability to autonomously procure the flow of material and products. The mathematical calculation of capacity planning in the production line helped to determine the total load and the number of vehicles needed for continuous procurement of transport requirements. The result of the design part is also the design of specific transport routes and transport conditions that AGV vehicles must comply with in order to maintain a high level of safety. Transparency and a constant overview of transported products is provided by the presented scheme for identification of production batches, Auto-ID system. The financial efficiency of the whole project elaborated in the diploma thesis is evaluated as payable after 4 years from the implementation of the proposal. The financial efficiency of the whole project elaborated in the diploma thesis is evaluated as payable after 4 years from the implementation of the proposal due to high labor costs.
Realization of an automated production line workplace
Pecha, Václav ; Vyroubal, Petr (referee) ; Bayer, Robert (advisor)
The thesis deals with the automation of the production process of the workplace for forging of metal parts for a specific customer in a specific environment. In the introduction, there is an analysis of the industrial revolution. In the next part, the thesis is devoted to the virtual commissioning in Process Simulate. It then deals with the technical part of the design and detailed specifications of the individual components. Finally, the success of the project after the implementation is evaluated.
Audio signal transmission over a standard Ethernet network
Rubínek, Tomáš ; Jaššo, Kamil (referee) ; Bayer, Robert (advisor)
The work describes digital audio networks for audio signal transmission. Describes the various types of digital networks and describes them. It deals in more detail with digital networks for audio signal transmission over a standard Ethernet network and compares their possibilities and uses. It compares several types of digital networks for audio signal transmission over a standard Ethernet network: Dante, AVB, Ravenna and AES67. It also compares these networks in terms of scalability and other possible uses. The practical part of the thesis is then focused on the configuration and settings of devices in the Dante network. There are stated examples for usage of the Dante network in model situations including examples of the concrete Dante devices connected to the network. In the last part of the thesis is described the realization of Dante network in the recording and postproduction room.
Determination of active emissions of electric cars
Kaštánek, Petr ; Bayer, Robert (referee) ; Jaššo, Kamil (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the ecology of vehicles with combustion engines and electric motors, both in terms of operation and in terms of production of fuel or electricity. A closer focus is on active and passive emissions of cars with combustion and electric engines. Emission sources, their reduction options and measurement methods for their determination in the production of WLTP and NEDC cars are discussed. Non-exhaust emissions are discussed in detail. Furthermore, a measuring device based on the Arduino microcontroller is designed. This device is then used to measure solid particles from tires and brakes when operating vehicles with internal combustion engines and electric motors.
Influence of Different Microetchants in Examination of Intermetallic Layers Morphology
Sčensný, Ľudovít ; Bayer, Robert (referee) ; Starý, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with the problematics of micro-etchants and their composition. The suitability of different solutions intended for observing morphology of intermetallic compounds in a soldered joint is examined. Three surface finishes coated with solder alloys are used to form representative samples. The prepared and processed samples in the form of a metallographic specimen are subsequently suitable for examining the microstructure of the etched surface. Laser scanning microscopy is used to analyse and evaluate morphology of the shown intermetallic compounds.

Filament recycler for FDM 3D printers
Neuwirth, Karel ; Bayer, Robert (referee) ; Jaššo, Kamil (advisor)
The first part of the project is focused on various types of 3D printing technology, especially FDM technology, where is possibility of recycling printed material. Next is a description of the most used materials for printing by FMD technology and a description of the production of filament using screw extruders. Several devices were selected for recycling and production of filament from FDM printing, for which their technological procedure in recycling is described. Subsequently, the work deals with the design of a device for melting plastic using a screw extruding device, including the possibility of measuring and regulating the output. In the last part, according to the design, the device is assembled and tested.
The Imaging Of A Schock Wave Within A Supersoniclow-Pressure Gas Flow Using Opticalmethods
Bayer, Robert
Using Environmental Scanning Electron Microscope (ESEM), which uses high gas pressure within the specimen chamber instead of vacuum, allows us to study samples containing water, samples with high capacity and live biological samples. It is because of the lack of the need to freeze the sample to sublimate the water from it. However, the behavior of the pumped gas in low pressures is not well mapped to be the low-pressure gas flow simulations considered adequately precise for applying on ESEM. To increase the precision of simulations, it is possible to use optical methods for imaging the shock wave within the differentially pumped chamber because of its uniqueness.
