Teaching about selected topics of first aid at elementary school
BARTOŠOVÁ, Barbora
The aim of thesis was to design and to verify the author's education programme on chosen topics about first aid. The verification of the programme had to take place, due to long-term schools closure, in two parallel eight grade classes in the form of distance learning in one of the elementary schools in Ceske Budejovice. Before the lesson, the students had to fill in Pretest, that was supposed to discover students' existing knowledge of the topic of first aid. An experimental class was chosen randomly, in which the lesson was led with the help of the instructional videos of the author's programme, practical drill, didactic game, crosswords and wordsearch. Control group was taught conventionally through monologue with the help of Microsoft Powerpoint presentation following with students' filling in a worksheet. The second day of the lessons, each class filled in a Posttest I and two weeks later a Posttest II, in both cases these were two identical didactic tests. The principle Pretest - Posttest verified the effectiveness of the relevant education project and through the statistical analysis of the t-test it was discovered that a statistically significant increase of the knowledge level in both groups of students occurred. Because both groups improved and then worsened, the chosen type of teaching did not affect their knowledge level. The difference of the Pretest, Posttest I and Posttest II was statistically different in favour of the experimental group contrary to the control group and also in favour of boys contrary to girls. Perception of the importance of the first aid topic changed in time in the way that students assigned the topic more value. The verified education material could be a benefit to biology lessons in upper primary schools.

Bartošová, Barbora ; Němec, Otakar (advisor) ; Litavský, Ondřej (referee)
This bachelor thesis deals with the topic of employee education and development in B. Braun Medical s.r.o. The aim of this thesis is to describe the internal education and development system including analyzing the employee satisfaction with the setting and practical functioning of this system. There was performed a survey amongst employees of this company in order to gather all the necessary information. The outcomes are suddenly summarized using SWOT analysis. This thesis is divided into two main parts, one part is theoretical and the other one is empirical. The theoretical part describes mainly the processing of company education system and the empirical one explains the reality by way of an example of the analyzed company. The biggest merit of this thesis is to make a suggestion of necessary measures that could lead to improving the current processes concerning employee education and development within the given company.
Great Britain in 1945-1949 and Its Impact on the Creation of the State of Israel
Bartošová, Barbora ; Soukup, Jaromír (advisor) ; Romancov, Michael (referee)
This Bachelor's thesis is focused on British foreign policy from 1945-1949 towards the Palestinian mandate. In the thesis I analyzed the factors related to the Declaration of the State of Israel. The relationship between these states was very close at that time, because in 1920 Palestine had became a British Mandate. After the Second World War, the situation in Palestine escalated and the development of the relationship culminated in May 1948 when the State of Israel was officially declared. The State of Israel was officialy recognized by Great Britain in 1949. In the thesis attention is paid to the internal situation in Great Britain (the first postwar elections) and to external influences affecting British foreign policy at that time. The first postwar elections were won by the Labour Party, and the key figures who set the direction of international relations were Prime Minister Clement Attlee, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Ernest Bevin and the Secretary of State for Colonies George Hall
Registration of Business Activity of Beekeeper in Terms a Quantification the Income Tax Base
Bartošová, Barbora ; Kuchařová, Ivana (advisor) ; Lenka, Lenka (referee)
The objective of this Bachelor´s Thesis is to cover business beekeeping activities in order to define possibilities to determine an income tax basis of natural persons. The Thesis is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical one. The theoretical part summarizes elementary findings on the ways to establish an income tax basis for natural persons. The issue is lump sum expenses, tax record keeping of income and expenses and bookkeeping. There is a description of division of entrepreneurs with an obligation to keep the books and without it. Furthermore, the following basic information is defined here: on apiarian products, on income tax of natural persons, on grants offered in the sphere of apiculture, and, last but not least, initial costs of a beekeeper owning two bee colonies. In the practical part of this Thesis, the three previously presented ways to determine an income tax basis of natural persons are demonstrated on model cases - lump sum expenses, tax records of income and expenses, and bookkeeping.
The contents of selected persistent organic pollutants in soils at selected locations within Hradec Králové city

Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) are ubiquitous contaminants entering the environment from both natural and anthropogenic sources. The main anthropogenic sources are processes for the production of electricity and thermal energy, waste incineration, road traffic and motor vehicles, aircraft, boats, steam and diesel-electric locomotives and some industrial technologies. Besides these main sources there are still a number of others, less important, e.g. working with hot tar, asphalt pavement wear and tire during vehicle operation, coking plants, plants for processing of oil and some metals plants. An indispensable source in the cities as domestic solid fuel burning furnaces. Although Hradec Králové do not belong to the cities with extreme levels of contaminants in the air, according to the Czech Hydrometeorological Institute, the levels of benzo(a)pyrene in the case of annual average concentrations exceeding the maximum allowable concentrations occurred here in 2013. While air quality is monitored regularly, the PAHs contents in soils and vegetation are not so. In our simple single experiment, we decided to assess the level of contamination of soil PAHs in the land of Hradec Kralove. It was collected 86 soil samples, in which were determined contents of 16 PAHs. Further, mushroom fruit samples that were found in the individual sampling points were analyzed. The results showed large variability of PAHs content in the city, but did not indicate significant levels of contamination. The sum of all the determined PAU does not exceed the permissible value of the contents of these elements in soils. However, in several cases exceeding the maximum allowable content in soils with different PAHs, especially fluoranthene, anthracene and chrysene. Linear correlation analysis showed that the levels of all monitored PAHs are close correlations, which indicates that the entire spectre of PAHs in this case always originates from the same source. The PAH contents in mushrooms were in most cases below the detection limit of the determination, only rarely the detectable contents of individual PAHs were found (Cylocybe gambosa, Agaricus arvensis). We can speculate about the limited ability of fungi to accumulate PAHs or their ability to degrade these substances.
