Evaluation of operation of small hydropower plant
Bartoš, Josef ; Dráb, Aleš (referee) ; Špano, Miroslav (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis deals with the quantitative expression of the reliability of operation at MVE. In the introduction, the work deals with the theoretical part, especially a more detailed description of individual indicators and mathematical expression of these indicators. The following is a description of the power plant, which is divided into individual parts. Furthermore, the evaluation is presented, which is based mainly on the theoretical part and the results are displayed, among other things, in graphical form.

Perfectionism and eating disorders among professional ballet and contemporary dancers
Bartoš, Josef ; Štěrbová, Zuzana (advisor) ; Mudrák, Jiří (referee)
Compared to the general population, professional dancers are more prone to higher levels of perfectionism and a higher prevalence of eating disorders due to the high emphasis on the physical aspects of the individual. The aim of this thesis was to compare the prevalence and correlation of perfectionism, eating disorders and well-being in the genres of classical and contemporary dance. To this end, quantitative research was conducted on a sample of 109 probands (74 females, 35 males). Classical and contemporary dance probands did not differ significantly in perfectionism nor eating disorders. However, for the total sample (without distinguishing the genre), a moderate positive correlation (r = .32, p = <.001) was found between perfectionism and eating disorders and a weak negative correlation (r = -.23, p = .02) between perfectionism and well-being. The tested mediation model of the relationship between perfectionism and well-being mediated by eating disorders did not reach statistical significance (β = -.08, SE = .04, p = .43). Although no significant differences were found between the classical and contemporary dance groups, the correlations found are consistent with the results of previous research and suggest the importance of developing and applying prevention programs in the professional dance...
Diagnostic methods of measuring empathy with focus on Czech adaptation of A Questionnare of Cognitive and Affective Empathy
Bartoš, Josef ; Höschlová, Eva (advisor) ; Jaroš, Jan (referee)
The ability to identify yourself with others, or to understand their emotional states, is one of the fundamental strategies of everyday life. This presented thesis is focused on the theme of empathy and psychodiagnostic potential for measuring it. For this purpose, the author presents an initial theoretical framework, the current notion of empathy based upon multidimensional model. He then shows existing inventories and discusses the Questionnaire of Cognitive and Affective Empathy in a greater detail. The aim of the empirical part is to translate this questionnaire, and to verify its psychometric qualities on the Czech population. The sample consisted of 260 participants (57,7% of women), average age was 30,73 years and standard deviation 9,6 years. To carry on the research, the inventory was parallelly translated by three professionals. The research then investigated the five-factor model through confirmatory factor analysis. The results show that the five-factor model fits the Czech data quite well. Nonetheless, five items had to be excluded due to poor factor loadings (3 from factor online simulation, 1 from factor proximal responsivity, 1 from factor peripheral responsivity); the original 31-item questionnaire has its Czech version with 26 items only. Reliability of internal consistency was...

Psychology of Dance
Bartoš, Josef ; STAVĚLOVÁ, Daniela (advisor) ; ČÍŽKOVÁ, Klára (referee)
This diploma thesis deals with the psychology of dance, the previously neglected field of applied psychology and systematic dance science. The aim of this work is to define the space in which the study could take place while designing topics and perspectives for further study. With this aim, the author addresses related scientific disciplines (anthropology, sociology, aesthetics) and their applied spheres in the field of psychology and dance. He carries out research of published Czech and foreign literature, with emphasis on the work of Czech theoretician and critic Jan Reimoser. The literature is also enriched by the related applied psychological disciplines (psychology of music, sports psychology) to inspire further study. The essence of the study is the results of the field research carried out with participants of Czech dance events. In the framework of the survey, five thematic areas from the field of dance psychology (motivation, prerequisites for the dance profession, personality and its uniqueness, perception and multidimensionality, experiencing) were selected and discussed with eleven carefully selected informants using the semi-structured interview technique. Narratives were evaluated using qualitative analysis methods. The aim of the research was to provide empirical data for the theoretical part of the thesis and to argue eligibility of further studies. It is clear from the study that psychology is an integral part of dance art and that it deserves further detailed study as such.
Czechoslovakian Dance Artists' Conference of 1950
Bartoš, Josef ; GREMLICOVÁ, Dorota (advisor) ; NĚMEČKOVÁ, Elvíra (referee)
This bachelor's thesis deals with First Czechoslovakian Dance Artists' Conference, which took place in Brno on 28th and 29th March 1950, based on the stenographic notation of its progress. Due to the large range of stenographic notation, it focuses on the most discussed themes, such as; period dance scene condition and reactions to period dance pieces; the recently established state-owned education system; teaching method issues; private dance studios; pedagogues' expertise; labor turnover of dance artists; folk dancing as an inspirational source and dance literature. Participants' convictions and thoughts illustrate the process of forming new ideological stances on the dance art sphere in Czechoslovakia after 1948; it reveals personal stances of each participant. It shows: ambiguous dance artists' relationship to the newly forming state-owned education system together with the requirement for shutting down private dance studios, clashes of modern and ballet dance representatives and the usage of their teaching methods while training new dancers, social and existential status issues, finding new ballet repertoire and its artistic sources.
