Nursing Care of Children with Orofacial Clefts

In the theoretical part I deal with cleft lip and palate, their distribution, risk factors, prevention, diagnosis and tretment. It also the nursing care of children with cleft lip/palate the infant and toddler period. The main objective of the thesis is to determine what is the nursing care for children with orofacial cleft. In addition, three sub-objectives have been established. The first goal was to find out what the nursing care is in the field of nutrition in children with cleft face. The second goal was to survey, what the nursing care of is wound in children after orofacial surgery. The last goal was to learn about the parents' awareness of the care with facial cleft. All objectives have been met. For the qualitative research as a method for data collection, was used nursing care report. The default method for the assembly of two case reports, was conducted and interview with mothers of children according to the structure of the model by M. Gordon - Model functional health patterns. Furthermore, the method of observation was used to compile the said case reports, and so was used medical documentation. The adolescents' awareness about sexually transmitted diseases.

The bachelor's thesis is focused on the adolescent's awareness of sexually transmitted diseases. This thesis is theoretical and empirical. The theoretical part briefly characterizes the period of adolescence, adolescent relationship with others, historical changes and equally important moral development. The following chapter is focused on sexual diseases. It is individual subsections contain information on specific sexually transmitted diseases and diagnosis. The last two chapters deal with important terms namely HIV infection and sex education. Empirical part is implemented using questionnaires, which was administered at four schools and there is a random selection of respondents from the population. The survey was intended to explain adolescents' awareness of sexually transmitted diseases, their symptoms and the attractiveness of protection against sexually transmitted diseases. Formation of competences for ethic behaviour of nurses in undergraduate preparation

The main topic of the work is the ethics in nursery. Its theoretical part aims at research in the field of nurses' preparation for ethically professional behaviour based on specialised education. A direct relation to the aims of the research work shows the contents analysis of the ethic curriculum of the study branch a health care assistant, with medium level of education reached and the study branch of a certified nurse with higher professional level of education. Ethically relevant contents of teaching the general education and professional education subjects and aims of education programs in relation to ethic education were used as the starting points of the research section. The empiric part of the work deals with the problematic area of efficiency of nurses' ethical preparation methods. The aim of the research was to find out the level of relevance of education system claims towards ethically professional preparation of nurses from the point of view of efficiency of the process of their professional attitude creation and the way of their behaviour.
