10 Abstract Title: Risks, experience and benefits of ski mountaineering Objectives: The aim of the study was to investigate feelings, risks and benefits during ski mountaineeering. Methods: In this study, we used a survey which is one of the questionnaire techniques. It is a quantitative research. Graphical representation was used to process the results. 337 respondents aged 18-72 years took part in this study. Results: We learned in the survey that for most ski mountaineers the greatest experience they get out of a hike is nature. Furthermore, most ski mountaineers don't know what green exercise means, 61% of ski mountaineers claim that the biggest subjective risk is not knowing the terrain, and the biggest objective risk are avalanches (66%). Almost all respondents agreed that the biggest benefit they perceived to be the improvement of their mood due to endorphin release. Conclusion: Thanks to the conducted survey, we have found out which benefits and risks skialpinists perceive as the most significant. According to our findings, the release of endorphins and the associated improvement in mood are among the greatest physiological benefits. Avalanche risks were identified by the respondents as the most feared objective risks, while lack of terrein knowledge was the most commonly selected subjective risk by...

Title: Outdoor Activities at Grammar schools in the Ústí region Aim: The main aim of this thesis was to determinate the current state of teaching outdoor activities (OA) at grammar schools in the Ústí region. Specifically, we have focused on whether schools include OA in their curriculums, in what forms and how often. We have questioned school principals and physical education (PE) teachers' opinion on OA inclusion. We have also surveyed opportunities for teaching OA in individual schools and their material equipment for OA. Method: Two semi-structured non-standardised questionnaires for the principals and physical education teachers. Results: Outdoor activities are widespread at grammar schools in the Ústí region. They are included both in the form of courses and in the physical education lessons, but more often in the form of courses. The most organised courses are outdoor courses at the beginning of the first grade (with the aim students got to know each other better and bulit a better team) and skiing courses. Almost all schools have suitable conditions for OA, but their material equipment for these activities is not optimal. The results show that teachers and principals have positive view on the inclusion of OA in the curriculum, however OA have more support from principals in this aspect. Key...

Author: Bc. Hana Bezděková Title: The Effect of Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation to Cervical Spine Posture in Road Cyclists Objectives: The aim of this diploma thesis is to assess the effect of 6 weeks proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation theraphy on posture of the cervical spine in road cyclists. Methods: This is a quaziexperimental study with general noninvasive examination. Photogammetry was used for evaluation of posture of the cervical spine and craniocervical flexion test was used to assess strength in deep neck flexors. The group that was examined consisted of 8 men and 2 women. Statistical analysis was performed using Shapiro-Wilk test, coupled t-test and regression. The siginificance level was set to α = 0,05. Cohen's d test was used to verify material significance. Results: There was no statistical and effect size significance found in input and output difference of craniovertebral angle in the experimental group after 6 weeks of PNF exercises. On the other hand, we have proven the statistical and effect size significance in strenght of deep cervical flexors before and after PNF treatment. Road cyclists are also, proportionally to time spent road cycling, more vulnerable to forward head posture. Keywords: proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation, road cyclists, cervical spine

Laudová, Veronika ; Psohlavec, Lukáš (advisor) ; Bačáková, Radka (referee)
Title: The relationship of "self-efficacy" and experiencing state anxiety in challenging activity. Goals: The aim of this work was to find a relationship between self-efficacy and state anxiety in challenging activity in overcome a high obstacle. Methods: Thirty-three undergraduate students at FTVS UK, who completed a challenging activity in the form of a height obstacle. At the beginning of the course, each person completed the NGSE questionnaire. State anxiety was assessed by using the CSAI-2 questionnaire, which participants completed twice. Once on the ground, before the activity, the second time at a height just before overcoming an obstacle. Results: A moderately strong relationship (p = 0,05) was demonstrated between self-efficacy and the cognitive dimension of anxiety r = -0,421 (p = 0,05) in height and between self-efficacy and the dimension of self-confidence r = 0,450 (p = 0,01 ), also in height. The female sample showed a relationship between self-efficacy and the cognitive dimension of anxiety r = -0,523 (p = 0,05) in height and between self-efficacy and the dimension of self-confidence r = 0,572 (p = 0,01), also in height. The male sample did not show any marked statistical significance between self-efficacy and anxiety dimensions. Conclusion: The relationship between self-efficacy...

Title Competences of leaders and inclusion of children with ADHD at summer children's camps. Objectives To assess the competences of leaders and the inclusion of children with ADHD at summer children's camps. Methods The research involved 22 experienced leaders, 8 men and 14 women (aged 26  5,2) from 18 different summer children's camps, who were sent a questionnaire with open questions. Interpretative phenomenological analysis was used as a method for processing the collected data. By coding the obtained responses and then grouping similar codes together, an overarching theme was identified for each of the sub-questions. The results The results were processed in 3 sections that answer the sub-research questions: 1. The combination of personal experience and basic education about ADHD seems to be sufficient for working with children with ADHD at summer camps. 2. The participation of a child with ADHD at a summer camp does not significantly affect the functioning or the program of the camp. 3. Leaders are aware of the differences of children with ADHD and work with them accordingly. They are patient and respond to situations with calmness. Conclusion Leaders of summer children's camps have basic information about the problem of ADHD and, in combination with their many years of practical experience...

Title: Effect of caffeine on finger flexor performance in sport climbers. Objectives: The goal of this work was to assess the effect of caffeine on the performance of the finger flexors during the all-out test in sports climbers. Another goal was to determine maximal strength in measured participants. Methods: 8 climbers (7 in the age 20-25 and one 34 years old) completed 3 experimental conditions during three laboratory visits to evaluate the effect of caffeine on finger flexor performance. The first was a control measurement and then, in random order, caffeine in the amount of 5mg/kg and placebo. Participants did a maximal strength test, a force gradient test and a 4-minute all-out test. Results: The maximum force reached an average of 49,0 kg during the control measurement, the total force impulse was 3889.6 kg.s, the critical force was 16,6 kg and the fatigue index was 68 %. After caffeine supplementation, the maximum strength values changed to 50,6 kg on average, for the force impulse to 3898,5 kg.s, the critical strength reached 15,7 kg and the fatigue index 69,1 %. The standard deviation of maximal strength shifted from 9,4 kg to 9,5 kg, the total force impulse from 684,4 kg.s to 717,5 kg.s, the critical force from 4,0 kg to 5,1 kg and the index fatigue from 6,2 % to 7,4 %. Štemberková, Zuzana ; Bačáková, Radka (advisor) ; Bílý, Milan (referee)
Title: Comparison of training preparation of female speed canoeists in junior and senior age Objectives: The main goal of the work was to compare and analyze the training preparation of female representatives of speed canoeing in junior and senior age based on literary sources and analysis. Methods: This is a research type of work collecting data from the training diaries of speed kayakers and methodological publications and analyzing them. There were 5 female kayakers, representatives in junior and senior age. We used quantitative analysis for data collection. Subsequently, we evaluated the results qualitatively. Results: We managed to compare the values of their diaries with theoretical starting points for all respondents. Some kayakers had a relatively ideal transition from juniors to seniors, while for some, on the contrary, the training volume decreased. For those that did not have a perfect transfer, we managed to figure out the reason why this was so. It was mostly a phenomenon where a kayaker reaches the peak of her career in juniors. Key words: Female kayakers, sports training, training diary, woman's sports, transfer to the adult category, yearlong training cycle
