Spolehlivá správa času pomocí TSC na platformách s nestabilním TSC

Some SMP hardware architectures (including x86_64) have unsynchronized Time Stamp Counters (TSC) between individual CPUs. This implies that TSC can't be used reliably to implement a fast gettimeofday() system call in a straightforward way. The current Linux kernel implementation uses synchronized (but significantly slower) hardware time sources on these architectures. The primary aim of this thesis is to perform a detailed analysis of how TSC could be used for reliable and accurate approximation of current time, so that it could be used as a trustworthy and fast time source. A working implementation based on the outcome of the analysis is expected.

Creation of the data model of the selected business information system agenda

The bachelor thesis deals with the analysis and design of an information system for warehouse. The reader is apprised with the severance of information systems to individual components such as CRM, ERP, SCM and MIS. In my work, I focused mainly on a detailed analysis of warehouse information system and creating of the conceptual and logical mode. At the end, I created a simple application for warehouse that allows to save data about customers, suppliers, receipts, and deliveries.

Recultivations within Mostecko Region and Their Integration to Basic School Education

The aim of this work is to describe North Bohemia brown coal (lignite) basin, as well as history of coal mining, development of this landscape and particulary the restoration of damaged landscape and nature. Theoretical part of my work summarizes the issueof recultivations, included history, types of reclamation, vanished settlements and significant exaples of recultivation. All of it is focused on region around North Bohemian city Most. Practical part's goal is to create an educational programme to increase knowledge of second degree Grammar school pupils about recultivations and to involve them in care about surrounding nature. Teaching programme was performed and results were statistically evaluated. Keywords Recultivation, Reclamation, Brown coal basin, Educational programme.
