Efficiency of regulation of minor stationary pollution sources

Despite the fact that most of developed countries are succesful in reducing emissions of pollutants, the problem in many places is still deteriorating air quality situation. Air pollution is a problem also for the Czech Republic, where some regions are more affected than others. Therefore was in this thesis chosen one of them, the area of northern Bohemia and specifically the area of Teplice. The work focuses on pollution caused by local heating device because this pollution is not currently regulated. The aim of this work is to determine the behavior of households for heating by local heating device through a questionnaire survey. Especially was monitored the reaction for potential regulatory tool- the motivational subsidy. From these data was in more detail examined the dependence between the amount of subsidies and net monthly income using the Pearson and Spearman correlation coefficient. Research showed no major statistical context, however, for the first time was held an investigation of multispecies heating in households thanks to which it can be better analyzed the reasons for frequent heating with solid fuels.

Analysis of students' decision making to continue on academic degree on Faculty of Economics and Public Administration

This bachelor's paper analyzes decision making of students of University of Economics Prague, whether they continue to academic degree or not after graduating bachelors' degree. The target of this work is to guess costs and returns of continuing on academic degree on Faculty of Economics and Public Administration. The first part contains terminology and theory of human capital, with stress on costs and returns of human capital. In the second part are mentioned the determinants which influenced students' decision making not to continue after graduating bachelors 'degree, which were find out in empirical studies. And finally in the third part are estimated average returns and costs of investment in education of students' of Faculty of Economics and Public Administration of University of Economics Prague. The rate of return of this investment is evaluated by internal rate of return and by net present value.

Phenotypic traits and pairing success of the Grey Partridge \kur{(Perdix perdix)}

The master thesis works measures of phenotypic traits and unique data of pairing of wild living grey partridges. The secondary sexual traits and theirs variability is described. Especially the relationship between the ornamental traits and the pairing success was researched. The results proved the greater pairing success of males with the larger melanin breast patch and the greater quality of the mate in females with the larger breast patch. The strategy of male floaters, which are realatively well ornamented is discussed.
