Home as Place of Rituals / Do not disturb! / Home Zone
Kubátová, Veronika ; Baráčková, Daniela (referee) ; Artamonov, Vasil (advisor)
I have been dealing with the themes of prefabricated houses and housing estates until recently. I was especially interested in their aesthetics. Order, grid and certain regularity and repeatability. At the same time, I was always interested in his social connotations, mainly because I live in these places. Gradually I became more interested in topics related to my own home. So I moved from the general themes to my own experience. But what is my home? Home is a place of utmost importance in our society. Home is made up of people, family. People have it associated with many rituals that accompany their lives often without actually being considered for them. Thanks to these rituals, we manage, among other things, the everyday influx of positive and negative influences of the surroundings and deal with them in various ways. Morning coffee, brushing your teeth, lighting a candle, wiping dust, filling a bath, scattering water on flowers, etc. Balance is the key to everything we do. And I would like to analyze, document and process these home and personal rituals in this work. The final thesis will consist of a free series of paintings with possible interventions and overlaps into video or installation, etc.
Everyday life
Rišiaňová, Zuzana ; Janoščík,, Václav (referee) ; Artamonov, Vasil (advisor)
In the form of paint, I illustrate portraits of people on a tablet, taking them from their electronic appearance on social sites, and creating objects in which I install them on a clothes-hanger in the form of jackets.
Community
Luksch, Vojtěch ; Tischler, Marek (referee) ; Artamonov, Vasil (advisor)
In my bachelor thesis I focus on topics from my surroundings. Because I live in a village I deal with ordinary things that are typically associated with it, such as landscape, pub motives, corners of the village, etc. I am looking for a certain lyricism in these common topics and I try to express my feeling and relationship to the topic. I mix peace and a pleasant slowdown in life in the countryside with my feelings of loneliness and sadness. I try to transfer these feelings to the watcher.

EX/POSITION
Brinzová, Marianna ; Zálešák, Jan (referee) ; Artamonov, Vasil (advisor)
The diploma work titled Ex/position is a project, exhibition, intervention of space, which determined itself as the topic and object of its research (analysis and interest). The Ex/position is an exhibition about an exhibition, a project about a project and a reflection about a context. The main output of the thesis is a curatorial project created in the concept of collaborative practice. The result of it is a collective work in the form of an exhibition. The thesis as a temporary gallery installation is created on the basis of the curatorial and as well authorial concept in collaboration with other authors. They were ideologically, formally, creationally involved in the collective work. The Ex/position reflects these topics: collaboration, the essence of the particular media and their contemporary intermediality, the relation between author and author, author and curator (and their blending) and the creation process of an exhibition.
Fixation and Mutation
Maloušková, Drahomíra ; Nikitová, Alice (referee) ; Artamonov, Vasil (advisor)
My ending Bachelor work related with all my work in school across my stadies here in FFA of BUT in Brno. Obssesive collectibles of different things and materials are my starting point. My father have this behavioral disorder, and it is really inspirated for me. In fact, I will present cca 13 oil paintings about some objects from his collection and relationships between these in space and time.
The Crystal Collector
Klicnarová, Dita ; Pěchouček, Michal (referee) ; Artamonov, Vasil (advisor)
This dissertation entitled Crystals Collector is concerned with the phenomenon of collecting, and more specifically with crystals as objectes in an imaginary collection. The objects are selected based on a personal fascination of the author. However, the collection always has, similarly as a crystal, a predetermined internal structure. The meaning of individual parts only become apparent when they are viewed as a whole. The main artefacts of the collection are paintings on canvas - with the painting becoming a similar 'fetish' as a collected crystal. Mineral it the key artefact and as such it is subjected to deeper examination (experiments with growth of crystals, studies of crystals, artefacts having a close relationship to crystals...).
Layers
Procházka, Přemysl ; Klodová, Lenka (referee) ; Artamonov, Vasil (advisor)

The Magic Adventures of Whimsical Incarnation
Zapletal, Aleš ; Stratil, Václav (referee) ; Artamonov, Vasil (advisor)
I am presenting a series of medium and large sized paintings. Theese figural compositions are based on still lifes composed of common objects and pieces of food, which are animated by their transformation into portraits and figures. Theese fantastic characters are situated into humorously worrying confrontations and situations in which animated objects imitate human acting. They are limited by partly human structure of their bodies.
