Cluster World
Delong, Marek ; Artamonov, Vasil (referee) ; Šrámek, Jan (advisor)
In my thesis I focus mainly on omnipresence of the internet and technology. Additionally on colapse of physical environment in online culture and infinite reproduction ability and transformability of digital matter. However, I’m also concerned about their feedback application into exhibition areas. The thesis deals with change of authorship – after an art piece gets documented, it becomes a circulating material. Authorship of an artwork is almost impossible to track down, same as the initial context. Artistic outcome switches from auratic object into a file which is a subject to the network architecture. In the last two decades the relationship between image, text, language, meaning, body, space, subject and object changed radically. The task is no longer to create unique and original art but to observe existing supplies of images and spaces as de-subjectivized.

Horák, Ondřej ; Hayek, Pavel (referee) ; Artamonov, Vasil (advisor)
The present work deals in one level with the issue of work and laboriousness in the arts and in the second plane perception of reality and its illusion. Here, briefly explains the function of the visual system, leading to the formation of the image, perception of light phenomena and to create visual illusions (ie. Phenomena, when our perception completely does not match with reality), which served as the basis for dealing with the formal aspects of the work.
New Wave
Švachulová, Klára ; Artamonov, Vasil (referee) ; Houser, Milan (advisor)
My Bachelor’s thesis is focused on the medium of music. The topic is the ‘on edge‘ movement between the picture and the object. It concerns the style created by a group of visual artists, who belong to the new wave movement. In my pictures, I am trying to capture the authenticity of that age, to which I refer. I work on ‘permeability‘, the ‘order in disorder‘, the interlocking of ‘New Wave‘ as the new order and ‘Punk‘ as the rebellion and disorder. I create the order in disorder by the use of geometry and by following a certain format. I am trying to create a pattern ‘on the edge‘ of composition.
Panel Art
Váňová, Gabriela ; Magid, Václav (referee) ; Artamonov, Vasil (advisor)
The main theme of the thesis are surface mines in northern Bohemia, the Most. Grasping the subject is moving mainly in personal as well as social aspects. The basis for practical thesis served theoretical thesis. Exploring the phenomenon of a block of flats in theoretical thesis led to turn to the topic of the panel surface mines. At first glance unrelated topics, however, contains an important connection. The coal industry forms an essential part of the development of the current form of North Bohemia, a form of large prefabricated housing. Interest in the originality of the construction in the settlements led to this issue. The work consists of several authentic records and materials from surface mines in Bílina processed in painting and video.

Piece of cake
Gračka, Martin ; Vaněk, Vojtěch (referee) ; Artamonov, Vasil (advisor)
For this series of paintings, I chose scenes from the computer game Duke Nukem 3D. I try to imitate the graphics of computer games of the early 90's. I'm not talking about thorough repainting of pixels, consistent copying of screenshots, but about capturing the atmosphere of the game using painting gestures and abbreviations - converting pixel graphics into the medium of painting. The viewer sees the images through the eyes of the protagonist, thus getting into his role. In my work, I am mainly interested in aesthetic enjoyment and the game between painting and graphics. Then about evoking sentiment that affects a narrower group of people.
