The thesis deals with educational area "Language and language communication" with special focus on educational field "Czech language and literature from 6th to 9th grade of primary schools and is defining the problematics of teaching methods. These questions are characterized both in theory and in research. The theoretical part characterizes the subject Czech language from 6th to 9th grade of primary schools as a teaching subject and it deals with teaching methods in terms of their classification. The research part is based on a survey and it focuses on practical use of teacing methods of Czech language lessons from 6th to 9th grade of primary schools.
Postmodern Characteristics of KURT VONNEGUT

This thesis analyzes narrative strategies of Kurt Vonnegut as a postmodern author with a specific style. The first part defines postmodernism as opposed to modernism and explains all essential notions to provide the theoretical background. This part also includes a biographical element, describing the important events of the author's life, as these had a major influence on his work. Second part of the thesis analyzes the narrative style of the two selected books, Breakfast of Champions and Mother Night. The conclusion summarizes the most important specifics of the author's narrative strategies and style in the given books. This thesis presents Kurt Vonnegut as a significant and influential representative of postmodern American literature of the second half of the 20th century. Vonnegut fully employs the narrative strategies typical for this period, and by experimenting he creates his own unique style.

This thesis focuses on general questions of speech ontogeny, it presents an overview of the ontogeny as a sub-discipline and describes the development of speech and language of an individual. The thesis is divided into two parts: theoretical part and research. The theoretical part provides a general description of speech ontogeny and related sciences. It also includes the outline of stages of speech and language development. The thesis deals with biological factors, social environment and family environment important for speech and language development. It also deals with vocabulary related with speech and language development. The research part describes the relationship between reading and the extent of vocabulary, focusing on pupils of secondary schools, aged 12-14.
Continuing Professional Education of Nurses Working in Outpatient Facilities

This bachelor thesis focuses on the lifelong education of nurses employed at outpatient physician offices. We tried to ascertain whether nurses employed in the outpatient segment feel the need for lifelong learning, whether they are supported by their physicians-employers within the lifelong education process, and what forms of lifelong learning they prefer. The results of the questionnaire research imply that the nurses feel the need for lifelong learning and most of them would educate themselves even without being obligated to do so by law. As regards different education activities, the nurses prefer participating at seminars. A majority of the physicians-employers support their nurses in the lifelong education process.
