In the computational part there is an analysis of the energy needs and flows of the building and energy assessment of the building. The project includes certificate of energy performance of the building and energy assessment.
Heating system of polyfunctional house
Hladík, Juraj ; Adam, Pavel (referee) ; Počinková, Marcela (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is the theoretical part of circulatory pumps. Computational part solves the design of heating and hot water heating in the polyfunctional house in Moste in Bratislava. Three-storey multifunctional house is situated on the outskirts of the city. It contains a total of 4 apartments and 8 office spaces for 64 people. The source of heat for the object is gas condensing boilers. The heating surfaces are plate radiators, tubular heating of the body.
Energy evaluation of an administrative building
Stadtherr, Jan ; Horák, Petr (referee) ; Adam, Pavel (advisor)
This master’s thesis deals with the energy assessment of an administrative building. The theoretical part is devoted to legislation for energy assessment – law, regulations and technical standards. The application of this legislation is provided in the calculation part as energy audit and energy performance certificate of the administrative building. The last part of this thesis is dedicated to application of computational softwares for analysing results of heat consumption in comparison with reality.
Energy-ekonomical evaluation, and optimization, of a family house
Rodková, Daniela ; Horák, Petr (referee) ; Adam, Pavel (advisor)
The main content of this thesis is a design and an assessment of energy-saving measures with an objective of energy economical optimization of a particular family house. The theoretical part of the thesis describes problems of the energy performance of the building. The calculating part is devoted to economical and environmental assessment of two solving options with a use of a computer program which enables a monthly calculating measure. One part constitutes a design of air-conditioning systems, heating and drawing up an Energy Performance Certificates. The part of the thesis which is focused on a computer technology application deals with energy performance optimization with a use of a program which enables a daily calculating measure and making models of pictures of flowing with a use of CFD methods.
Fittings of heating systems
Klus, Lukáš ; Adam, Pavel (referee) ; Počinková, Marcela (advisor)
The theme of this diploma thesis is fittings of heating systems and it is divided into three parts. The first part deals with this topic on theoretical level. In the second part, there is a calculations and drawings that deals with heating and water heating of the apartment building in Uherské Hradiště. This part is solved in two variants concerning hydraulic balancing and regulation of the heating system. The last part of the thesis is an experimental solution and processing of pressure loss results of selected valves. These results are compared with the values reported by the manufactures of the valve.
Energy Assessment of Solar System
Šmardová, Eva ; Adam, Pavel (referee) ; Horák, Petr (advisor)
The first part of diploma thesis describes how to measure the parameters of solar thermal collector and solar thermal system. The computational part analyzes heat consumption in the evaluated building and describes design of the solar thermal system for domestic hot water. Last part focuses on the energy assessment of the designed solar system above and evaluation of the solar system, which is located at the Faculty of Civil Engineering in BUT.
Construction details of buildings evaluation from energy demand point of view
Císař, Milan ; Šikula, Ondřej (referee) ; Adam, Pavel (advisor)
Theoretical part of Diploma thesis deals with issues about thermal bridges and thermal connections in building structures. The Calculating part focused on the family houses with a low heat use. The results of this part are energy and financial evaluations of family house. The last part deals with the using of computer technology in engineering practice. These chapters devote about computer modeling an assembly details of passive house and family house after reconstruction (the dates of family house after reconstruction are compared with the results from experimental measurements). The last section of this Diploma thesis solves dynamic modelling of particular passive house in simulation program called Trnsys.
Ventilation and Air Conditioning of Civil Buildings
Matějíček, Michal ; Adam, Pavel (referee) ; Hirš, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the design of the air conditioning of a swimming pool in Karlova Studánka. Air conditioning ensures forced ventilation and adjusts incoming air to required temperature and humidity inside the pool. The theoretical part deals with literary research on the topic of humid air, evaporation from the water and the thermal load of the object. The experimental part deals with evaluation of the measured humidity and indoor temperature in a bathroom and in a swimming pool.

Surface plasmons in optical microstructures and their sensor applications
Adam, Pavel ; Homola, Jiří (advisor) ; Brynda, Eduard (referee) ; Richter, Ivan (referee)
Title: Surface plasmons in optical microstructures and their sensor applications Author: Pavel Adam Institute: Institute of Photonics and Electronics AS CR, v.v.i., Department of Optical Sensors Supervisor of the doctoral thesis: doc. Ing. Jiří Homola, CSc., DSc. Abstract: This work is focused on the study of surface plasmon resonance (SPR) sensor platforms based on wavelength division multiplexing (WDM) of multiple surface plasmons (SPs). These sensors are based on advanced diffraction gratings supporting either conventional or Bragg-scattered SPs, which are simultaneously excited at different wavelengths. These SPs are studied both analytically and numerically using rigorous coupled-wave analysis and an integral approach. WDM of two and three SPs is presented and followed by the method for the analysis of the resolution, noise and cross-sensitivity. This method is employed to analyze the ability of different SPR sensor platforms (supporting WDM of two SPs) to discriminate refractive index (RI) changes in a thin layer at the sensor surface from background RI changes. The WDM SPR sensors based on advanced diffraction gratings prepared by interferometric holography are developed and tested in a model biosensing experiment consisting of the layer-by-layer growth of protein multilayers. The linear WDM of two...
