Stránská, Marianna ; ŽIŽKA, Tomáš (advisor) ; TÄUBELOVÁ, Kristýna (referee)
ANNOTATION This diploma thesis is not a scientific work or a historical research, above all it is a reflection of my own practise, my own artistic creative work aiming at a viewer interacting with an object. Key words - spectator, object, interaction, communication, experience, practice, dream, imagination, childhood, game, collaboration, happening, installation, performance, site specific, communication game, participance, active This diploma thesis is basically divided into three main parts: context, practice and reflection. The first part context deals with today´s theatre form as a distinctive and irreplaceable medium, which is able to succeed in the contemporary fast-motion world of the Internet and TV. It enquires about the shape of the theatre today. In that connection I research a connection between theatre and other types of art. At the same time I bring a new type of terminology and define art, which tries to involve a spectator in a selected subject an object in an interaction with a spectator. I try to put this subject in a scientific and historical context, look for similarities in work of other artists and researching all possible forms of interaction and describe a relationship between author, spectator and work on particular examples. The second part of the thesis confronts the previous thoughts with my own experience. It describes ideas, pieces of knowledge and observations. It illustrates the development of The Lounge of Senses project and other following projects labelled with ORBIS PICTUS or...brand. It formulates an intention and meaning of these projects from this experience. The third part of the thesis reflection deals with the possibilities of interaction within a stage work. It returns to a theatre form with an experience from interactive expositions. It deals with symbols with which a spectator can be motivated and provoked to participate in the work process. It looks for possibilities to attract spectator´s attention. And last but not least it shows the development of such opinions on practical examples.

The thesis is focused on the phenomena of recycling and authenticity. At first the key terms are explained, as they are understood by the author of the thesis, and they are considered in general, as well as in the context of arts and theatre. The following practical part is more detailed: First, the previous works of the author of the thesis are mentioned, as far as they are connected with the topic, and her long-time engagement in the given sphere is thus demonstrated. The remaining text is devoted to her work on the theme of the family: this work was similar to archaeology, and the result was finally named The House is Haunted by a Ghost. The detailed description of the whole creative process ranges from the choice of the topic, through gathering physical and non-physical material, determination of form, treatment of sound component to the final installment and its aspects. This description is made with respect to the manifestations and use of the phenomena of recycling and authenticity. Working in creative team versus working with directors solitaires.
Venclová, Tereza ; MATÁSEK, Petr (advisor) ; ŽIŽKA, Tomáš (referee)
In this dissertation I am concerned with my role of a stage designer in a particular creative team, whose members are: Jakub Vašíček ? director and author, Tomáš Jarkovský ? dramaturgist and author, Tereza Venclová ? stage designer, Kamil Bělohlávek ? stage designer, Ondřej Müller ? composer. In individual examples of realizations of inscenations I compare the method of working in teams and working with directors, who I call solitaires. The solitaires are: Dodo Gombár, Jiří Jelínek, Janek Jirků, Ondřej Pavelka, Ivan Ramont and Martin Tichý. I research aspects which determine the quality of cooperation with solitaires and the team from my own experience, as well as advantages and disadvantages of working in collective. Since I am not a theorist, I consider the creation as a focal point of my work. So that my aim is not to create a comprehensive research dealing with general rules, but to inform about how my thinking of my own creative work has been developing in the time of my studies and where I got. I believe in making a good use of this reflection in my future work.

Film and this world is another link to my work, I like to use film editing and visuals as a part of theater dramaturgy. Traveling (migrating) as an art style, is another link to my work, there is a lot of new technology and more when you searching and looking in other countries and meeting new people in industry.
