Pavement milling

The aim of my bachelor thesis, which is a research based, is the processing of knowlegde of road milling works. The first part of the thesis is focused on the usage of milling. In the following section, I focused more on the milling process itself, technology and types of milling equipment. Part of this work is introduction of modern milling methods as well as introduction of three companies in the Czech Republic which operate on road milling works. Last part is focused on standard milling regulations. The thesis was done for study purposes.
Scenographic Work with Documentary Material

Bachelors thesis describes documentary project Family Dinner and the preceding partial projects Peace Generation and My name is Sara Millesson, which study possible methods of work with documentary approach to scenography. Thesis puts these partial topics in context of current world documentary theatre, performance and conceptual art. It follows the path of the topic from the initial idea to the fully realised thing. The point of this bachelor thesis is to reverse engineer the processes which lead to the final form and name them.
Across the border

This text deals with the beginnings of a long-term project taking place in the border area of Kladské pomezí. It tracks the development of various theatrical approaches and their influence on local culture. It is structured into four main chapters. The first one attempts to briefly describe the natural conditions inherent for the area and it explains the local conception of the term "border". Chapter two focuses on practical realization of initial artistic activities in the area. Using various projects as examples, it maps their influence, which became a part of the creative process in this project. Chapter three examines in detail an artistic residency, the methods its participants used in rehearsals and various metaphors for crossing the borders. Chapter four tries to discuss in detail the preparation phase of the Symposium as well as the event itself. The peak of the residency was a meeting on the theme of landscape and this was also the closing event of the first year of activity in Kladské pomezí. In the end of this text, the author tries to summarize her views on the completed projects, assess their significance for the planned continuation and outline the intended direction of deepening borderactivities.
Even People Can Be Used

In first part of the thesis I describe the process of execution of stage design for certain productions. I draw inspiration from this description in third part of the thesis. Pursuant subjective criteria I try to name those elements and moments that could be important and I compare those in order to achieve relevant informations regarding common signs of my own work. In second part I try to find relation in wider context and I pay attention to history and thoughts of DADA movement. In third, last part of my thesis, I search for identical features of different productions and I examine possible influence of DADA movement on my work and I try to reveal my own identity as an artist.
VISUAL AND PUPPET´S THEATRE FOR A SPECIFIC AUDIENCE - THE SENIORS

The subject of this thesis is an elderly person as an audience. The thesis puts a question how to work with elderly people audience. Theoretical part introduces the subject of an old age. Term of an old age is defined from the psychological point of view and includes terms such as communication and memory. It also introduces with dramatic art visual conceptual projects that were concerned with an old age. It also introduces organizations that are concerned with social environment. The theoretical part discribes terminology of dramatic art and sources leading to selected visual and conceptual solutions. Applied part of the thesis contains a description of a process how the performance is created and its scenographical and dramaturgical conception. It also seeks a future solutions, how to work with a selected group.
Kytice - light installation

My thesis is based on a reflection of light installation inspired by Karel Jaromir Erben's collection of ballads called Kytice. I'm explaining and looking closely at selected elements from Kytice which determined my way of thinking. My goal is to find main sources of inspiration that had influenced me throughout my work, explain the dramaturgic composition of the installation as a whole and individually analyze each ballad represented in the installation.
Methods and Features of Immersive Theatre

The aim of this thesis is to present features and methods of immersive theatre. The first chapter introduces the term itself, the discussion about its use and my opinion on it. I also outline my own research of this kind of theatre and support it with foreign examples. In the second chapter I describe my artwork in the field of immersive theatre with emphasis on the performance Letec - l'Aviateur. I reflect the dramaturgical preparation, the rehearsal period and the specificity of acting in this kind of theatre. Finally, I focus on dramaturgy of the space and specific features of scenographic work.
Art from the Site - Field Research and Its Staging Strategies

This bachelor's thesis deals with theater production that is based on previous field research. In this work I reflect and analyze the theatrical production of "Marie to dala. Jak to dá? ty?" which was my bachelor's production. I break down the individual phases of creation and the work method. Main emphasis is placed on working with sources during the creative process and on theatrical creation in non-theatrical spaces.
SCENOGRAPHY AS A USAGE OF SPACE

This bachelor thesis discusses the matter of using space in theatre scenography. There is a description of non-traditional usage concept of scenographic space in the 20th century in the theoretical part of the paper and my experiences with the organisation of space usage, work with lights and sound, costumes making during the creation of the following pieces - Sarajevo and Endgame - in the practical part of the paper, including the part of working with actors in various space (rehearsal phase and the piece itself). The possibilities of how to make the theatre "non-theatrical" and how to close up with the audience are also discussed. Picture documentation is attached to the paper including basic scenography sketches and photographs from both pieces.
PERCEPTION OF SPACE - DIMENSIONS OF SET-UP VIEW

The thesis deals with the perception of space as in theater and in public. It is trying to find a way how to work with the perception of space and how to bring life to the space with activators. It also explains the term "pohledovost" - (visual perfection ? set-up view) and its impact on the work in expanse. All this is explained from the feedbacks from projects, that arose during the studies from 2010 to 2013. The thesis is divided into seven parts. The goal of this dissertation work and its impulses are explained in the first part. The second part clarifies the processes of thoughts leading to the perception of space. The third section describes the development of considerations to an activator. The fourth section describes the production, application and transformation of the activator. The fifth section deals with the perception of theatrical space and with the visual perfection. The sixth section summarizes my findings. The final chapter contains the list of used sources.
