Optimization of the switching power supplies with synchronous rectifier

This thesis deals with switching circuit topic, especially switching power supplies. There are switching circuits without inductance and their benefits presented in the thesis. Basic topologies of switching power supplies, their properties, application area and functions of basic types of converters are also described. The next section focuses on special resonant switching power supplies and synchronous. The main part of the work is carried out simulations using three synchronous rectifiers. The work includes practical design of an SMPS with synchronous rectifier.
Intelligent versatile charger

The theoretical part deals with the theory of batteries. The principle of Nickel-cadmium (NiCd), Nickel-metalhydride (NiMH) and lithium (Li-Ion) batteries are described. The principles of proper charging and weaning of these batteries are also described. The proposal and construct NiCd and NiMH batteries charger, consisted of the three parts and the switching power supply, controller and chargers is included in the practical part of this work.
Development of the Versatile Industrial Manipulator

It analyzes propulsion using the industrial robots and sensors required to operate in the robot. The practical part describes the design of a mechanical arm for an industrial robot manipulator. This thesis describes the design of portable multi-purpose measuring device with Microcontrollers from Microchip running on battery power, for displaying the measured signal uses a graphical LCD with a resolution of 240x128. The device is equipped with an oscilloscope and multimeter with auto range.
Development and optimization of system for measuring of watering

The main goal of this thesis is to become acquainted with questions of sensors and the problems of measuring the plant watering. The result is creating an intelligent prototype of a module that should measure temperature, conductivity and pH of the watering. Automatic measuring of these properties makes the parameter evaluation easier and quicker. This measuring module extends contemporary device with the possibility to measure properties of the plant watering.

Work is about theoretical proposal of network datalogger, which logs indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity. As microcontroler is used development kit STM32 Value Line Discovery and for comunication with server is used Ethernet protocol. As primary display is used remote access to server, as secondary alphanumeric liquid crystal display.

The Sport Activity Digital Recorder

This paper discuss the design of multifunctional device used as the digital recorder for sport activity. The general aim is to explore theory issues, construct the device and develope software for the application. Components were chosen considering low weight and power consumption and with as accurate tracking as possible.
