Solid fuels boilers
Šmejkal, Petr ; Štelcl, Otakar (referee) ; Baláš, Marek (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with burning solid fuels in boilers used for house heating. In the first chapter, the individual kinds of solid fuels are described in light of their composition, properties, means of their energetical application and ways of adjusting them to a form proper for combustion. In the second chapter, the individual types of solid fuels boilers are described. The last chapter deals with comparision of several specific boilers in light of their purchase price and operating expenses.
Fireplace Inserts
Ptáček, Martin ; Štelcl, Otakar (referee) ; Fiedler, Jan (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is examination of automatic controller in various operating modes on fireplace inlay Venus 12.1.W. The work compares few measurement, always with measurment without automatic controller In this measurements are evaluated the emissions of CO, CO2, oxygen content in the flue duct gasses and the temperature in the flue duct are listed here and the efficiency is calculated for different operating modes. Conclusion contains overall summary of this thesis. At the end there is a search of manufacturers not only in Czech Republic
Biomass boilers
Jelen, Richard ; Štelcl, Otakar (referee) ; Baláš, Marek (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with biomass boilers. The first part is dedicated to biomass, its distribution, characteristics and potential. The second part describes a combustion process, construction and severance of biomass boilers. The last part of this thesis compares the selected biomass boilers from an economic perspective.
Biomass used for heating
Pecháček, Michal ; Štelcl, Otakar (referee) ; Baláš, Marek (advisor)
The text is focused on the subject of biomass and discusses its potential for energy use during combustion. It presents an appropriate forms of biomass for combustion and the types of combustion equipment for biomass for heating houses. The text then provides proposal of calculation for biomass heating of the model house.
Use of renewable energy sources for family house heating
Jež, Dalibor ; Štelcl, Otakar (referee) ; Baláš, Marek (advisor)
The content of this bachelor’s thesis is the technical research focused on renewable sources of energy used for family house heating. The thesis is divided into several parts. The first part consists of general information, characteristics and dividing of each renewable sources. There are also their advantages and disadvantages. The second part of the thesis is focused on suggestion of concrete systems suitable for family house heating and is supplemented with their comparison.
Biomass boilers
Bednář, František ; Štelcl, Otakar (referee) ; Baláš, Marek (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with biomass boilers for heating family house. The thesis is divided into several parts. In the first part are characterized solid fuels, the individual kinds of solid fuels, properties, modifications and processing are described to finishing suitable form for burning. The second part describes individual biomass boilers for house heating. The last part of this thesis compares the selected biomass boilers from an economic perspective.
Modern Trends of Heating of Family House
Zbořil, Martin ; Štelcl, Otakar (referee) ; Lisý, Martin (advisor)
The aim of this thesis was to summarize current knowledge of heating technology, including new houses, which have great potential this direction. Then perform a basic comparison of the various methods of heating the model house.
Biomass boilers with high outputs
Chmelíček, Jiří ; Štelcl, Otakar (referee) ; Baláš, Marek (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with biomass boilers with high outputs. The thesis is divided into several parts. The first part is characterized by biomass, characteristics and modifications are described. In the second part of this thesis combustion process is described briefly, there is short talking about types of boilers with high outputs in this part. In the next part there are examples of boilers. The last part is about users of biomass boilers.
Solutions for using micro cogeneration in places where are not primarily available gas or liquid fuels
Kubínek, Martin ; Štelcl, Otakar (referee) ; Vojáčková, Jitka (advisor)
This bachelor´s thesis deals with the usage of micro cogeneration units in the places where gas and liquid fuels are not primarily available. In the research part, the available technologies and the current condition of the market of micro cogeneration units, which use solid fuels, especially biomass, are described. In the technical-economical part, there is a design of the specific unit whose thermal output corresponds to the thermal rated loss of the chosen building. The payback period of the unit with a gasifier and with a combustion engine is estimated in the cases when the chosen building is currently heated by: lignite, wooden chips, electricity and the combination of natural gas and coke.
Forming of solid pollutants from biomass
Havlínová, Denisa ; Štelcl, Otakar (referee) ; Baláš, Marek (advisor)
This bachelor‘s thesis is divided into two main parts. The first part is research and deals mainly with biomass and pollutants. In this section, we will find a two-dimensional distribution of biomass, a comparison of fuel forms and a discussion of basic pollutants with a focus on solid pollutants. The second part is experimental. It starts with a fuel laboratory, where the water, ash and heat content of the biofuels examined is determined. The following is an investigation of the dependence of the PM formation on the properties of the biomass, which was measured by the measurement of these PM by the filters in the collecting device, while the examined biofuels were gradually burned on the fireplace insert.
