Štěpánková, Marie ; Pilný, Ondřej (referee) ; Kolář, Radim (advisor)
The bachelor’s thesis deals with the design of a new apartment building, located in Velké Meziříčí. The apartment building is designed as a detached house, set in a slanted terrain. The building has a basement with three floors. The entrance to the building is possible from the southern side. There is a total of 10 residential units in the apartment, spread from the 1st to the 3rd floor. In terms of size, the flats are a single room with a kitchenette (1+KK), two rooms with a kitchenette (2+KK) and three rooms with a kitchenette (3+KK). The building is in the shape of the letter T, with overhanging jetties located on the north-east and north-west side. On the south side, the residential units have balcony structures. The overall floor plan‘s dimensions of the apartment building are 24.12 x 11.92 metres. The apartment building is designed in Porotherm technology with contact insulation. The horizontal structures are designed as a reinforced-concrete-monolithic-ceiling structure. The roof of the apartment building is realised by using a non-walking vegetation flat roof. The color of the facade is white with shades of light grey in the overhanging structures and in the stairwell.
Kindergarten
Štěpánková, Marie ; Vystrčil, Jan (referee) ; Šuhajda, Karel (advisor)
The goal of this diploma thesis was to design a kindergarten building as building with almost zero energy consumption. This is the project documentation of the actual implementation. The proposed building has two above-ground floors and a partial basement. The building is designed for three classes for kindergarten children, ranging from 3 to 6 years old, and two doctor's offices. One consulting room is used for speech therapy, and the other as a psychological office. Each part of the classroom has its own entrance, a changing room for children and employees, hygienic areas, a playroom with a bed, a storage room for toys and sunbeds. Another part of the building is the technical facilities, which are located in the basement. On the 1st floor, there are offices and day rooms for kindergarten employees, a space for preparing meals and a warehouse for food. The last room is located on the 2nd floor, which is the language classroom. The internal perimeter load-bearing and non-load-bearing structures are designed from ceramic blocks. The ceiling structure is designed from prestressed Spiroll ceiling panels, supplemented by monolithic reinforced concrete ceiling slabs. The roof structures have two height levels and both are designed to be flat. The perimeter masonry is contact-insulated with mineral wool. Part of the facade is designed as ventilated with wooden panelling. The building is based on foundation belts made of plain concrete in combination with blocks of lost shuttering.
Vocal expressions in preverbal children
Štěpánková, Marie ; Havlíček, Jan (advisor) ; Houzar, Alžběta (referee)
The main acoustic communication channel in humans is speech. However, people also exhibit a number of non-speech vocal manifestations. Vocal manifestations contain several parameters that can be measured and parameters that can be perceived. Vocalization can be divided into positive and negative, so it can be assumed according to the contexts in which they occur. Based on this, their possible communication function can be assumed. Vocal expressions are important for communication with the environment especially in preverbal children, i.e. from birth to about 1 year of life. Vocal manifestations include, for example, crying, laughing, grumbling or babbling. Some vocalizations can contribute to speech development. Key words: vocal display, preverbal children, acoustic communication, speech, humans

1 SUMMARY Intention of our project was to sum up (evaluate) an effect of potential risk factors on a progress of allergic disorders in children (infant) population. We examined whether a nutrition of a child after birth, a frequency of meat in nourishment, a child care, a children cosmetic using, an age of child when enters nursery, play school, school, number of brothers or sisters in family can influence a progress of allergy. Our project realized in 2005. To obtain data we chose interview method. From 3.845-sent interview paper, we got back 2.050, which is 54.3%. Surveyed target group were children born in years 1992-1994. According to incoming data, we divided children into allergic and non-allergic and we compared occurrence of separate factors in these two groups. From data evaluation, we gained several statistically important offspring (outcome). The first tracked factor was breastfeeding. According to our evaluation, there was a lower occurrence of allergy (p  0,05) at breastfed children in 13. - 18. month. On the contrary, in the case of nutrition only by artificial feeding there were a significantly higher percentage of allergic children (p  0,05). Another from monitored factors was indigestion in the period of breastfeeding and after its stopping. More children that are allergic suffered by...
