Capability of body measurement on an in-line 3D measuring device
Čada, Michal ; Jankových, Róbert (referee) ; Šrámek, Jan (advisor)
By developing optical measurement technologies of shapes and elements, it is now possible to measure the carbody directly in the production flow of the welding company's line for the production of cars, the so-called „In-line measurement“. When deploying this control process, you also need to process the amount of data measured using the standard described procedure for process control. The thesis presents a proposal for the introduction and control of the dimensional inspection process of the final product of the welded body.
Determination of measurement uncertainty of a coordinate measuring machine in nanometrology
Potanko, Andrej ; Jankových, Róbert (referee) ; Šrámek, Jan (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the determination of measurement uncertainty on coordinate measuring machines in the field of nanometrology. These are SIOS NMM 1 and Zeiss UPMC 850 Carat machines, which are used at the CMI workplace in Brno. In the theoretical part, the work is devoted to basic terminology in the field of measurement and general characteristics of coordinate measuring machines. The theoretical part concludes with a description of the devices used for measurement. In the practical part, experimental measurements are performed on both devices with subsequent identification and quantification of individual components of uncertainties affecting the measurement. The last part of the thesis is devoted to the overall evaluation of measurements on Zeiss and SIOS devices and their metrological comparison.
The Symbolism of Colors as a Speculative-Fiction
Špundová, Veronika ; Bena, Julie (referee) ; Šrámek, Jan (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis is an existential dystopian statement of a human actor. It is an object into which the author - the creator - user - actor projects her critical vision of a globalized, yet very local world torn apart by several crises at the same time, in which she longs to break free from anthropocentrism or redefine it to more respect a wide range of other actors, on which we are largely dependent. It tries to grasp reality from a new perspective, even if such a perspective should be mere imagination, speculative fiction, even if it should deviate from the usual directions of knowledge and action to the unknown, such as the magical irrationality. Formally, the subject of the bachelor's thesis is DIY tent sewn from upcycled textile materials and embroidered with ornaments, symbols and organic drawings, which form a variety of relationships and narratives. Inside this "outdoor shrine" there is an object - a totem standing on a tripod, on which rests a smartphone, which through the application plays three videos depicting the human actor in various strange surreal situations.
Use of a coordiante measuring machine for surface quality evaluation
Vančurová, Martina ; Šrámek, Jan (referee) ; Harčarík, Matej (advisor)
This master’s thesis deals with the use of a coordinate measuring machine probe for surface texture evaluation. The thesis’ goals were to describe the Renishaw’s SFP2 probe, to analyze the measurement system of the probe and a common stylus instrument, to carry out a demonstrative measurement, to analyze measurement results and to give practical recommendations. The measurement system analysis of the SFP2 consists in the evaluation of minimal specification limits of selected roughness parameters, for which gauge capability can be proven. The analysis results are compared with the results of the measurement system analysis of the Surtronic 25 profilometer. The differences in the measuring processes of mentioned devices are demonstrated by surface texture inspection of torque converter body. For the measurement result analysis, uncertainties in the selected surface texture parameters are calculated in two ways. Finally, recommendations for the producer of the probe and for its users are worked out. The results of this thesis may contribute to a wider use of a coordinate measuring machines for surface quality evaluation.
The introduction of metrological procedures for determining the eligibility of gauges in tribology
Rozlílková, Lada ; Harčarík, Matej (referee) ; Šrámek, Jan (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with metrological procedures in determining the capability of measuring instruments in production in a company operating in the field of precision engineering. The main goal of each business is its competitiveness in the industry and the satisfaction of customer. Therefore in companies is a great deal of emphasis on modernizing and optimizing the production process, logistics, and reducing the enviromental impact. The customer's demands are constantly increasing and that is why the accuracy of the product is emphasized. So it is not only necessary to produce the product correctly and accurately, but also to check its quality, whether it fits within the given tolerances and meets the customer's requirements.
So far so good
Rariga, Branislav ; Mazanec,, Martin (referee) ; Šrámek, Jan (advisor)
A dystopic game inspired by a children’s monopoly game, with its content, rules, visuals, etc. metaphorically simulating, ironising or criticizing, and at the same time pointing to the issue of capitalist society, whether in the personal or work / corporate life of an individual, and its impact on society and its development.
Determination Accuracy of Measurement in Nanometrology
Šrámek, Jan ; Číp, Ondřej (referee) ; Tykal, Miroslav (referee) ; Jankových, Róbert (advisor)
The presented doctoral thesis deals with measurements of extremely small sizes in nanometrology using a touch probe, which constitutes a part of a three-coordinate measuring system. It addresses a newly developed method of exact measurements in nanometrology by touch probes. The aim of this work was to expand the measurement options of this device and design a methodology proposal for the measurement of small parts, including the determination of accuracy of measurement of this device when used in nanometrology. The work includes the new methodology for the calculation of uncertainty of measurement, which constitutes a keystone in determining the accuracy of measurement of a accuracy three coordinate measuring system (hereinafter only nano-CMM). The first part of the doctoral thesis analyzes the present situation in the area of evaluation of accuracy of measurement in very accurate length measurements. It defines and describes individual methods implemented in the determination of accuracy of measurement on the instrument nano-CMM. A great emphasis is placed on the methodology of the measurement uncertainty, which draws from the author’s experience as a metrologist working in the laboratories of the Department of Primary nanometrology and technical length, Czech Metrology Institute Brno (hereinafter only CMI Brno). The second part of the doctoral thesis focuses on the determination of accuracy of length measurement in nanometrology, using a large set of measurements that were carried out under the reproducibility and repeatability conditions. There is also described and tested a model procedure utilizing the Monte Carlo method to simulate the measuring system nano-CMM in order to extent the newly created methodology of the measurement of uncertainty using a touch probe on the instrument nano-CMM. A substantial part of this doctoral thesis provides a detailed evaluation of results obtained from experiments that were executed under the repeatability and reproducibility conditions, especially for the purposes of the determination of the uncertainty of measurement. In this doctoral thesis, the uncertainty of measurement is chosen to quantify the accuracy of measurement of the instrument nano-CMM. The final part of this thesis summarizes the knowledge obtained during the scientific research and provides its evaluation. For the methodology used to determine the accuracy of measurement in nanometrology, it also outlines the future development in the area of scientific research, including the practical use in metrological traceability and extremely accurate measurements for customers. Furthermore, it deals with the possible use of other scanning systems compatible with the instrument nano-CMM.
Design of a suitable length standard for nanometology at the CMI Brno and CEITEC Brno
Češek, Jakub ; Jankových, Róbert (referee) ; Šrámek, Jan (advisor)
The thesis deals with the design of a suitable length standard for nanometrology. This length standard will be used for metrological traceability of the Rigaku nano3DX located at CEITEC Brno and the SIOS NMM-1 device which is located at ČMI Brno. The first part is focused on the description of these measuring instruments, the analysis of their metrological traceability requirements and the requirements for the material length standard. The second part is devoted to the concrete possibilities of the etalon design, 3D printing of the prototype of the standard and verification of its dimensional compatibility. At the end of the thesis, the evaluation and selection of the appropriate standard design is made.
