Draft mix for network independence
Horváth, Radovan ; Špiláček, Michal (referee) ; Pospíšil, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of this diploma thesis is the development of research on the topic of the draft mix for network independence. Next is the outline the various design solutions of the battery systems for accumulation electric energy and balance model energy supply system for the selected object. The practical part of diploma thesis deals with necessary resources and the size of batteries for autonomous operation during the summer months and also implements technical and economic studies aimed at finding cost-effective solutions. The work is divided into 6 chapters that contain 16 tables and 18 figures. Diploma thesis brings an option to configure a photovoltaic system and also describes the features, functions and the choice between the most used technologies. Evaluation of results of theoretical methods are described in the final part.
Condensing boiler with solar collectors for thermal energy supply of residences
Zeman, Radek ; Špiláček, Michal (referee) ; Pospíšil, Jiří (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with practical design of heat supply of real house in Libhošť, Nový Jičín. Main strategy of heat supply is gas condensation boiler, that replaces current gas boiler, with solar collector. From known house heat loss we determine temperatures of heating water and power of boiler, that heats the house and hot water. System with solar collector is designed to heat hot water in the house. All necessary equations are calculated both for long term measured meteorological data and for data in year 2015. Heat gains and payback periods of investment in solar system are determined from them. Payback periods are calculated given to price of heat that gas boiler produces. Equations and payback period evaluation are made for systems with one to four solar collectors. There is recommendation at the end of thesis, whether the solar system is advantageous, or not.
Biomass drying methods
Beran, Petr ; Špiláček, Michal (referee) ; Baláš, Marek (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with biomass and principle of drying solids, in next part there is a detail research of biomass dryers and final part of thesis deals with balance calculation of drum dryer and a calculation of flue gases properties.
Renewable energy sources for one-family house
Burýšek, Jan ; Špiláček, Michal (referee) ; Fortelný, Zdeněk (advisor)
This Bachelor´s Thesis deals with the topic of Renewable Energy Resources. It is divided into two main parts. The first part is a research on renewable resources of energy which are available in the Czech Republic. The second part is focused on use of particular resources in a chosen object (house) and their subsequent efficiency evaluation.
Economy and ecology of biomass utilization
Plíšek, Petr ; Špiláček, Michal (referee) ; Pospíšil, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with an economic and environmental contexts of biomass utilization. The first part focuses on the description of the nature and manner of use of biomass. Another part is focused on economic aspects related to biomass. A necessity in the processing a particular energy source is its ecological problems, that is the third chapter. The last part is devoted to the design condensing heat exchanger and its output relative to the fuel wetness content, and boiler output with a condensing exchanger depending on the combustion products cooling temperature.
Utilization of absorption systems in the heating systems
Vidlák, David ; Špiláček, Michal (referee) ; Pospíšil, Jiří (advisor)
Main goal of this work is familiarization with basic features of absorption heat pumps and it’s growing importance on the market. In the first part of the work there is a research for clarifying facts associated with such pumps. In the introduction there are descriptions of basic information from the field of heating industry and its connections to our systems. Next there is a brief analysis of price changes in electricity and heat in the last five years. Main part of the analytical section is a description of the used absorption system. Second part of the work is focused on the calculation of the absorption system itself. First there is calculated internal and external part of the device according to the parameters from GE Power s.r.o. After this step there are parametric studies based on changes of key parameters of the default device for a demonstration of the behavior of a heating pump. In the end of the work there is a integration of the unit into the heating cycle for variations including flue gas condenser and using a cooling water from the turbine condenser.
Accumulation of electricity from renewable sources
Plíšek, Petr ; Špiláček, Michal (referee) ; Pospíšil, Jiří (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the issue of accumulation of electricity produced by renewable sources. The first part focuses on the description of possible ways of accumulation, especially with focus on those methods, that are suitable for renewable energy sources. The next part deals with the design of the accumulation energy in the compressed air for the selected photovoltaic power plant. The necessity of designing a particular method of energy storage, is also its technical and economic analysis, which is the content of the last part of the thesis.
„Smart cities“ and decentralized production of energy
Opátová, Alexandra ; Kudela, Libor (referee) ; Špiláček, Michal (advisor)
This bachelor thesis describes the principles of decentralized energy sources, together with the advantages or challenges that concern the problem. The first chapter describes the concept of "smart city" and the field of use. There are also described options for modeling of urban areas as a unit. The second chapter focuses on the concept of decentralized power generation and the benefits that such a system can offer. The following chapters deal with cogeneration units and electricity storage options. The last chapter focuses on a issue of integrating decentralized power generation into the grid and compares various mathematical models and possibilities of regulation.
Rock heat accumulator
Nguyen Khac, Hoang ; Špiláček, Michal (referee) ; Pospíšil, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of the thesis to explain the functionality of seasonal accumulation with an in-depth view on rock bed accumulator. The computational model is based on the project located in Attenkirchen, Germany. After the technical analysis of the model is carried out an economical review can be realized. To conclude the thesis an evaluation is made comparing an accumulation system with a more traditional one.
Alternative Energy Resources for Family House
Buráň, Petr ; Štelcl, Otakar (referee) ; Špiláček, Michal (advisor)
In this bachelor thesis we will focus on alternative energy resources for family house. The thesis consists of two main chapters. The first chapter is focused on research, in which we will sequentially introduce different resource of energy and describe their principle of operation. In the second chapter we will create proposal designs for different energy resources for family house and their price comparisons.
